Meeting the ever-increasing demands on image quality that digital photography brings, the redesigned EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM is the latest update to the acclaimedL-Series of EF optics, re-establishing a new standard for superb optics, high-end durable construction and performance in professional zoom lenses. Astandard focal length zoom lens, it features a large aperture throughout its focal length. Featuring the latest advances in optical lens design, it utilizes 1 Super UD lens element and 2 UD lens elements that help minimize chromatic aberration in the periphery at wide-angle as well as reduced colorblurring around the edges of the subject. In addition, 2 types of aspherical lenses are combined tohelp reduce spherical aberration over the entire image area as well as through the full zoom range.Optimized lens coatings also help ensure exceptional color balance while minimizing ghosting. The lens is also equipped with a circular 9-blade diaphragm for beautiful, soft backgrounds. A ring-type USM and high-speed CPU with optimized AF algorithms enable silent and fast autofocusing. Built for the rigors of professional use as well as to meet the increased number of shots available with digital photography, it's constructed with improved dustsealing and water resistance while fluorine coatings on the front and rear lens surfaces help reduce soiling, smears and fingerprints. iPod Controls are nice. I would like it to be more like a dock so I can select my songs from the iPod it's self. Sound quality is really nice. It actually sounds better than the factory radio with the factory speakers. Sub woofer output sounds good. Well balance of sound with the sub woofers and the factory speakers. The screen is nice, because it will read out the details of the track/audio file that is being played. You can select songs from the radio its self. Tuner works nice. Over all, it was very easy to install. Be sure to buy the wiring harness, because it makes things a lot easier. Be sure to buy your din kit if you need one. Over all, replacing the factory radio, and buying the din kit and wiring harness cost me only $100.00 with free shipping. It probably took a good hour to install. Could take less, or more depending on your vehicle. Installed in a 1997 Dodge Stratus. I'm 17 and I figured it out. I strongly advise you to do research on how to install on your specific car. If you do not feel comfortable installing this yourself, seek professional help such as Best Buy Geek Squad. They charge around $60.00 for install. I did it my self to save some money.

This unit is perfect for my needs. I had it professionally installed. The sound quality is superb. It looks really beautiful, too. It has a subwoofer crossover AND subwoofer level control as well as the ability to control Bass, Mids and Treble. Aux and USB work flawlessly. When using the USB, the track information is shown. I'm very pleased. My previous unit was a double din dvd player w/ bluetooth, but that was always a hassle and took so much room on the dash, so I went with a bluetooth earpiece and a sleek quality audio unit at a great price. If you feel that bluetooth is nothing but a distraction and want quality audio w/ usb, aux, subwoofer control and the ability to control lows, mids and highs (and you want something that looks elegant) for a low price, then you, like me, will love this unit.

This Kenwood stereo has great sound. I hooked it up to the factory speakers in my Honda Odyssey and it sounds great. I highly recommend it for the money. The controls are intuitive and the USB function works easily. I've not used the Pandora yet. I really like this stereo. It was well worth the money. The only thing it doesn't tell you is that there is a harness that plugs into the stereo that comes with it. I bought one separately and spent money I didn't need to. But to make it easier, I would purchase a harness that plugs into your existing car stereo and solder the two harnesses together so you have one piece of harness that goes from your vehicle directly into your stereo. Radio shack sells soldering irons for $10 as well as heat shrink to cover the connections. You can do it at your kitchen table. Make sure you get solder with a flux core so it sticks well. It was well worth it and it was professional. There is no way the vibration from driving will pull my wiring apart.

- does not play playlist files
- plays MP3 tracks from USB in order of file names, not embedded MP3 track numbers
- does not link up with Kenwood music app on my Galaxy S3

This deck boasts plenty of great features as per the item description, and it's definitely a good value for the cost. Easy to install, took me about an hour and I have never installed a car stereo before (consulted YouTube for a quick dash removal tutorial).

However, I was really disappointed to find out it does not play MP3 playlists. I was not able to make it work in conjunction with the Kenwood music player app on my Galaxy S3 either. The worst annoyance I found is that it plays USB MP3 tracks in alphabetical order of file name (a personal pet peeve of mine). To play tracks off an album in correct order, the file names must have numbered prefixes ("01 - song1", "02 - song2", "03 - song3", etc). This can be a drag if you have a collection of random singles that are all named differently like I do.

To sum it up, the KDC is a good value but if you're an MP3 perfectionist, might want to keep looking.

This is a great product. Everything I needed for my enclosed trailer.
If you don't need bluetooth you can't go wrong for the price. ( I paid $68 for this unit )

The Kenwood 252 reciever does exactly what it says. It was easy to install however I did use a wiring harnesses for both my truck (ranger) and the wife's car (Miata) which is the only way to go. We both liked this model mainly for the ipod / iphone player feature using USB port in the front. There aren't many buttons which makes navigating to the album / song pretty easy. It does come with a remote for anyone who needs one. Oveall good price and a good product.

We paid $72 for this and installed it in my son's Jeep Cherokee. It already had an older Sony aftermarket unit installed. After we got the old one out, installation was simple. I originally planned to pay a professional to install it, but having swapped out an entire dashboard on an E30 BMW, I felt I could handle guiding my son through a stereo swap. The Sony connector that was wired in did not fit the Kenwood, so he had to use wire nuts to splice in the Kenwood connector. That was the most difficult part.

On to the product review...
Build quality is very good, with nice feel to the knob movement and the buttons. Programming is straightforward and simple, far less confusing than a JVC unit I used to have (see BMW comment above) although this one does not have the ability to change colors. Easy to use with an iPod or other device. Accesses music fairly quickly, although that might be faster with a more expensive unit, I'm not sure. We haven't tried using it with a CD full of MP3s yet, maybe never will since CDs are now so old fashioned (!!).

At this price point, the Kenwood is a good choice and we're very satisfied. We paired it with a new set of JVC CS-HX538 5.25" speakers and he's very happy. He plans to add a sub-woofer later.
