In LOVE!,
By J. Tilonsky (MD) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Kenwood KDC-MP538U USB/AAC/WMA/MP3 CD Receiver with External Media Control (Electronics)
I was going to by this for my car, but after reading all of the reviews, I was worried I wouldn't like it, so I had my husband take his old stereo out of his car and put it in mine and I ordered this one for him. Now I'm pissed because I love this stereo. All of the people that had complaints about this are either just lazy or not very smart. It only took me a couple of minutes to program the radio presets for my husband and figure out most of the features. I didn't even look at the book. I was just sitting in the car while my husband ran in a store and I decided to play with it. I actually like that it doesn't have the preset buttons along the bottom. It looks so much cleaner. Yes, it does take a moment to get used to, but I swear, its awesome once you do. This is our second Kenwood and I definitely will never buy another brand. I used to be JVC all the way, but after my husband got a Kenwood for his car, I fell in love. I especially love the USB feature, I never have to switch out CD's, I made a folder for my music and a folder with my daughter's music. I can fit so many songs on a memory stick, I never get bored. I L-O-V-E this stereo. I wish I would have just bought it for my car.

Cool gadget,

I got this car CD player, and used it for about a year and a half. It works great for me, cool display etc. The only down side is, the menu is hard to manipulate... and a little hard to find songs. If you use your iPod with thousands and thousands of songs, you need a really good playlist to access them whenever you want, or else you have to scroll all over the place. But other than that, I am very satisfied with it!

Excellent product price ratio, it's just as displayed in the picture and high quality. However knobs for audio management and other options are often discard a tire and lost some control over this, but it's nothing serious.
