This review is from: Kenwood KFC-415C 160-Watt 4-Inch x 10-Inch Two-Way Speaker System (Electronics)
These speakers fit perfectly in my 1986 Fiero GT. I pulled up an article for car stereo installers on how to determine which terminal on the speaker was the positive one (they're not marked) and proceded to do the install. The speakers don't sound quite as good as I hoped but they're every bit as good as the factory dual cone speakers. A lot better in fact considering those were shot!

These were quite a step up from the factory speaks which had deteriorated significantly from condensation (paper cones). Installed in a 1996 Suburban with little difficulty. I decided to re-use the factory connector on the old speakers, which required some soldering. Also, the mounting hole was barely big enough to fit the new Kenwoods, but they snugged in with a little elbow grease. These speakers sound quite good, while the low end is hampered by the poor mounting structure provided by GM; it is not near rigid enough, so the bass end is muddy and weak compared with what you'd get if the structure was solid.

New rear speakers for a Turbo Buick,

I chose these speakers for a rare low mileage collectable car. The factory rear deck speakers in my 1987 Buick Regal Turbo were in bad shape and the sound was horrible. This car is originally equipped with the Concert Sound option. I wanted to retain the factory look and did not want to install a more readily available 6x9 with an adapter. The Kenwood speakers fit in place using the factory mounting hardware with very little modification. In order to maintain the factory wiring and connections, I took the connectors off the old speakers and soldered them to the new speakers.
I believe the sound quality of the Kenwood speakers meet or exceed the factory Delco speakers. I am happy with the new speakers and the sound quality of the whole system.

After doing much research I decided to purchase the speakers for my 2000 Chevrolet S10, it was a great buy. These had better sound quality then what I was expecting. Do not expect to get much bass out of these, they aren't subs. You can't go wrong with these speakers and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good pair of 4x10 speakers.

Great price and it fit into my 1987 Buick with little modification. Improved the sound of the factory stereo greatly.

Nice full sound, especially the treble, well rounded, but distort at the volume I like to listen, so I just tune the bass down and let my little 8" sub pick up the slack. Amazon packed this poorly and fedex banged it up something fierce, the tweeters popped off the speaker assembly on both, but gluing them back on with some epoxy wasn't difficult at all. I imagine these had sat on a shelf for some time, so the glue had aged. All in all, I'm happy. Good price.

Just as I would expect from the Kenwood brand! These speaker have a rich full sound with smooth lows and crisp highs, The mids are quite impressive as well! The sound from one of these speakers just filled the cab of my pontiac fiero! Both of them plus the 4" subs made for a mighty surround sound experience! I would recommend these to anybody trying to boost the audio in their car!

Used these to replace to replace blown factory speakers. They are 10x better than the factory speakers. Very simple install.

My friend bought these for her 1988 Fiero, and I helped her put them in. They were a breeze to install, but what was even more amazing was the bass these relatively small speakers could produce. In her little car you can feel the low notes in your chest and they rattle the mirrors! The built in tweeters are also very good. I would recommend these to anybody looking for an oddball 4x10 speaker set.

I had purchased these speakers as replacements for original stock speakers in my 1981 DeLorean DMC-12. After I installed them and fired up the radio, I was just ecstatic. The actual product was more heavy duty then the stock Craig speakers I took out. It took me only 45 minutes to replace both of them and they sound great. I have a Pioneer 45x4 c.d. deck in the car and after playing around with the acoustic levels, bass and treble, it sounds great even with adjusting the sound so most of the sound comes out of the 4x10's. I don't even have to have the radio turned all the way up and I can still hear the stereo with the doors and windows shut. I highly recommend them to anyone with 4x10's, especially DeLorean owners.
