My Drivers Side factory Door speaker in my 2002 Chevy avalanche was blown

(sounded all scratchy).

So i purchased these Kenwood kfc-1693ps 6 1/2 speakers and installed them in all four of the doors. These things sound great the have great bass and very clear treble i am so happy with this purchase kenwood has always been a very good product. These speakers are a very high quality great sounding speaker at a very good price, They also come with everything you need to install them Speaker wire with connectors, mounting screws with clips and even has a template on the box to use if you need to cut holes or make any mounting panels.

i received my speakers quickly in perfect condition. glad i picked the performance ones, i had them installed yesterday and wowzers they sound awesome!!!! paired with my new kenwood blue tooth stereo i couldn't be happier!

I bought these speakers because they were the cheapest 6.5" speakers I could find by a named brand. I installed these on the front doors of my chrysler LHS (Concorde). I had to splice a few wires and drill holes to get them installed as the holes on these speakers do not line up with the three on my car. I found this crazy considering there are tons of mounting options for these speakers. Anyway, although I got these for the great treble and mids, my car was wired in such a way that these speakers are only used for bass. The bass isn't that loud, but the fidelity is fine. I wish I could tell you how the treble and mids sound, but I cant. Overall, I am satisfied with these speakers, but I wouldn't recommend them if you are purely going to be using them for bass.

I connect this speakers to my Boss radio and the sound is great, with nice bass.

These speakers blew away my stock speakers by far in my '92 F150!! Easy to install, all the hardware was included!

for the price this is and was unbeatable. sounds awesome i have kenwood kfc all around in my car. i can keep the bass at 0 to + 2 without distortion at high volumes. and then i can crank my subwoofer output to max and it sounds awesome.

Installed in doors of a 1991 Honda Civic hatchback replacing a pair of KFC-1662S. Hooked to a KDC-MP435U receiver. Audio source is usually 256kbps MP3, sometimes audio disc.

These sound PHENOMENAL. Low-end is as good as any 6.5 I've heard, and close to a lot of 6x9s(!). Highs are very clear and crisp. Mids may sound weak to some, but the clarity makes up for it. I can take the volume well past comfort level with no obvious distortion. These are powerful enough I usually don't bother turning on the amp for the rears.

The only catch is mounting height. The depth is fine- if they'll fit in an EF Civic they'll fit almost anywhere. The massive tweeter pods are the issue; in my case stock grilles cannot go back on with these speakers. Check the height before purchase if you care about the factory look.

Overall these are incredible bang for the buck. Highly recommended.

I bought these to replace stock door speakers in my 05 Monte Carlo. The beat like they are amped on my stock radio. I plan on adding the Kenwood 6'x9's and head unit to the set.

These were a gift for my 18 year old son. He installed them in his truck easily. They sound great. He would order more of the same.

Added these speakers toa dying sound system in the back seat of my SUV. VERY glad with this addition. The sound is crystal clear and the bass is is very MEATY and adds the lost sound needed to enjoy my favorite music.
