Finally! the long-awaited Kenworth offering by Ron Adams.

Adams continues his fine style by producing a truck book that covers Kenworth from 1950 thru 1979.

Adams concentrates primarily on highway trucks in these 126 pages. He manages to provide unusual offerings such as the 1953 CBE (cab beside engine), pictures of the famous Monfort trucks,(with explanation of the "Monfort Lane")and the infamous B.C,Fry's V12 Detroit-powered Kenworth. Such diversity has been made possible by a handful of contributors.

This book is a pictorial romp, with enough interesting text for every photo, and some stunning examples have been hand picked for this.

Sure, the first eighty pages are in black and white, and Yes, there isn't a single interior shot to be found, and Yes, the Bicentennial and Gold Nugget edition Kenworths are conspicuously absent, and Yes Ron Adams gave Peterbilt 40 years worth in his 'Peterbilt Trucks' book, not thirty. However, Kenworth fans are generally grateful for whatever they can lay their hands upon. Remember, most of us paid way too much money for "Kenworth..the First 75 years"..

Ownership of this brilliant book, for KW fans and old-truck enthusiasts should be mandatory. Don't stay home without it!.
