Fun for the kids but very flimsy. When I was a kid they made this game with durable, hard plastic. Now, on the regular version, especially, the plastic isn't much thicker than a plastic cup. On top of that, the holes for the sticks seem to be a bit too large. The sticks tend to slide on through when the kids try to place them. It's also a challenge to turn the cylinder without knocking something loose. Best bet is to look for an older, sturdier version of this game.
The super-duper version that comes in the box complicates things but does not add any more fun than the plain vanilla Kerplunk. It may change as they get older, but my kids prefer the basic Kerplunk. |
