These went in much easier than I expected - I installed them around the edges of my paver patio. If you're going to install them anywhere that's fully surrounded by pavers, you're either going to have to take the pavers apart all around where each light is going, or cut down the plastic base on each paver to make them drop in (which can be easily trimmed with a pair of tin snips or very sturdy scissors). The plastic lenses themselves seem pretty sturdy so far - there is a little bit of give when you step directly on top of them, but they feel like they should hold up pretty well. Time will tell how well the lights themselves hold up - the bulbs and connectors don't seem to be waterproofed in any way, and the housings are not anywhere near watertight - I'm assuming that they simply don't need to be (fingers crossed!). Doing the actual wiring was a snap with the included connectors. If you get this bulk pack, make sure to also get a spool of low voltage wire and a 12v power transformer to make everything work (this pack does not come with those 2 components).
