Informative and well written source on this wonderful breed.
Being one of the few inprint books available. This book is a good source of information on one of the canine worlds most whimsical breeds. Covers history, AKC standard, grooming, health and other topics that any novice would benefit from. A good book to own for the Kerry enthusiast!

Not much about Kerry Blue Terriers
The book contains some nice pictures of Kerries and a little history. Most of the book, however, is generic about dogs in general. If you want to know anything substantial about the breed, this is not the book for you.

Good book with info,

When i first got my kerry blue, there were no books about his breed except for this one. When i started reading it, it gave me alot of information to help me breed my dog, train him, and make him happy. i also learned more about his history! Great book! Although, i thought that alot of details were missing, so if you want to buy this book to get a good idea on how to treat/know more about kerries, i highly recommend this book!! :-)

I was not impressed by this book. It starts out with a nice history about the breed, but everything else is very generic for any breed. It is a nice overall beginner dog book, but not worth it if you want to learn more of this unique breed.
