CHECK WITH SELLER: This item offers two different sheaths. One is black and is being transitioned out (it seems). The other is brown and features some handle coverage when the knife is sheathed. If you really want the brown (simply out of preference), check with seller first. I ordered one with a photo of the brown and received the older black one. I grew to like the black, but was disappointed at first.

KNIFE ITSELF is great quality. It is larger than I had imagined--the perfect size for a day around camp or working with meat. Haven't used heavily yet, but I expect this knife will perform well. Blade size is hefty and solid and the curve is perfect. The handle almost seems thin in the hand (compared to the width of the blade), but maybe that's just me...

Typical Kershaw value. You can spend a lot more for a knife----but you can't get more in a knife. Kershaw has delivered quality at a great value to me for the past thirty years and this purchase did not disappoint me in any way. The orange handle is great, I have no need for camo stuff (I'm not hiding from anyone), I can find it where I left it. Set it down, look around, there it is!!!!
