First the bad(not really that bad though). It has allen wrench screws when most knives use torx screws, and it has a no flow through design(back spacer). Also, my knife's blade was not centered when folded up. Very easy fix though. Just loosen the screws, center it by moving the G10 scales and liner, re-tighten. Done. It has a steel(8Cr13Mov)razor edge that's very easy to touch up when needed. Extremely light and a perfect size for almost any regular everyday tasks. It's so light, it actually feels cheap. Let me assure you, you get a lot of bang for your buck. Would make a great gentleman's folder knife gift.

Would totally recommend to a friend for less than $17!!

I look at knives constantly. My needs are simple - 'The best knife I can ever find'. While I still haven't yet found my 'perfect knife', for the cost, this one comes darn close. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis resulting in limited mobility and flexibility of my hands and wrists. I cannot use this knife as a flipper with my right (dominant) hand, but can with my left, and it works beautifully. It comes sharp and can be easily kept that way (I'm a sharp freak.). The only complaint - I wish it had Spyderco's ability to move the clip to four (it has two) positions, that's not an issue for me to even drop it one star. I'm buying more as gifts for friends, just because I think they should have a good knife. Look at the price, even a cheap person like me can't go wrong.

Intro:
I was planning to get a knife for my outdoor excursions, and after surfing around the net, I finally decided to get this knife. Here are the pros and cons after EDC-ing it for 5 days:

Pros
- It's sharp out of the box. Not razor-sharp, but sharp enough to shave your hairs given you put enough pressure and slide it at the right angle. (Be careful not to cut yourself though!)
- The flipping mechanism is quite smooth, and swings into the locking position with a very satisfying sound. Can't seem to stop myself from not opening it when I've got nothing to do!
- It has a lanyard hole, which I made a requirement for my knives, as I'm planning to EDC it everyday, and having it hang by my neck is a concealable method to carry it.
- The locking mechanism is VERY secure.
- With the correct tools you can reposition the clip of the knife, which would be handy for those who prefer to carry it tip-down, instead of tip-up.
- The clip is SUPER tight, and would keep your knife VERY securely clipped to whatever you wanted to clip it too.

Cons
- The clip is so tight that it's difficult to clip it to pockets if the fabric of your pants or jeans are thick.
- The blade is very thin, so please do your knife a favour and not use it for stabbing. A friend of mine tried stabbing my knife into a wooden table top, but I managed to stop him from doing it before messing up my tip.
- The thin blade of the knife would make it unsuitable for most tough outdoor tasks. However, it would serve well for other tasks such as feathering sticks and shaving tinder. It's a GENTLEMEN's knife, so don't abuse it!
- This knife doesn't have Kershaw's SpeedSafe technology.

Over the past 2 years I have purchased more than 15 different knives from among the Spyderco, Benchmade, Kershaw, SOG, and CRKT lines. They have all been EDC in nature. They have all been of high quality and design. I had been focused on knives in the $50 - $150 range, but recently decided to try a $16 Kershaw Chill based on some great reviews. The Chill has been with me for 30 days and has gotten a lot of use. It is the BEST AFFORDABLE EDC yet! Thanks to those reviewers who took the time to make this known.

This knife is definitely a nice blade! I bought it to be an EDC knife that I could beat on and not feel bad about it, because the price was so low. When I got the knife and realized how good it was I was shocked. For $17 this knife is worth it and then some. The blade came very sharp, one of the sharpest factory edges I've personally seen and had 0 blade play. If you're debating buying this knife I'd say go for it! For the money, you really can't beat it as far as a medium size EDC knife is concerned.

I chose this based on the review from Nutnfancy. Check youtube for his review. I won't go into too much detail since others have already done so. I needed something that I could carry with me that was small, light, and felt good in the hand and looked nice. Nutnfancy calls it an "affordable gentleman's knife". Very true.

Pro:
very light weight
thin
very sharp out of the package (I can shave the hairs off my arm)
quick flipper action
solid lock up, no left/right or up/down play

Con:
clip is for right-hand carry only
no jimping (this would add to overall cost and can be fixed with a dremel)
edge of liner lock makes my thumb sore when unlocking (though is after opening and closing 20 times in a row...it's fun to flip it open)

I bought this when it was $17. Amazon is now selling it for around $14!!! Super-light, thin, and very sharp out of the box. Just get it already!
