5.0 out of 5 stars An amazing every day carry
Simply put, this knife is a joy to use. The blade keeps sharp for quite awhile under moderate use. It can be easily and quickly opened and closed with one hand. It's thin and light, making it very pleasant to carry around everywhere!

1.0 out of 5 stars kershaw onion black leek serrated
I haven't received this knife since I placed the order. I'm supposed to give this knife to my best friend on his B-Day, but never received it and no communication or whatsoever with thompson tools (dealer)

5.0 out of 5 stars Hands down the best pocket knife you can own., December 29, 2008

I have owned this knife for 6 years and still carry it daily. The size is perfect, the action is fantastic, and it stays quite sharp under heavy use.

A couple years back the tension spring broke, but Kershaw has a fantastic lifetime warranty. Ship the item back to them and they fix everything for free and pay for return shipping. I got the blade sharpened, the safety replaced, and a new tension spring. All it cost me was about $5 shipping (I shipped it UPS though, USPS would have been less).

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome knife for every day carry, December 9, 2008
This review is from: Kershaw Leek Serrated (Sports)
I carry this knife every day of my life. It is very slim so it doesn't take up much room in your pocket. It's extremely sharp. The speed-assist opening system is totally ninja and super quick. The serration is very useful for cutting ropes and cords. The only drawback is the little plastic safety device for keeping the blade in. I have owned five of these knives over the years (I lose them at a rate of about 1.5 per year) and this little piece has broken off of every one of them. I tend not to use the safety lock anyway so it isn't a big deal for me. I prefer the black version because it looks ninja, but the black DLC coating does scratch up after a while. Overall, this is the best EDC I have ever used.

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect pocket knife!, November 28, 2009
This review is from: Kershaw Leek Serrated (Sports)
After carrying a knife for years, I believe this knife meets all the needs of an every day carry pocket knife. The size is perfect (not going to scare someone when/if you pull it out) and fits in pocket well. The speed assist opening is good for a quick one-handed 'draw'. Partially serrated blade adds functionality. Black blends with clothes well. Blade holds edge for a long time. I have been carrying and using this knife for 2 years and haven't needed to sharpen it yet (occasional use). So handy!! You never know when they may stop production. It is good to have this knife in your collection. This is the first review I have ever written, but for THIS knife... I had to share my thoughts/comments. This is the best knife I have ever carried around for daily use!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Carry Knife, August 24, 2009
This review is from: Kershaw Leek Serrated (Sports)
I have been looking at this knife for a while a now and finally received it as a gift. This knife is as good as I hoped it would be as it feels very sturdy and well made, and also relatively light. I love the clip that is on the knife, which makes it easy to slide it onto my pocket. This knife carries very well and not very noticeable in your pocket. The knife as a whole is very thin and does not take up too much room in your pocket either. These knives are made in the U.S.A. and done so with quality. This is the best feeling knife I have seen in a long time. The spring loaded blade opens with ease using only one finger. The blade is out quick, and also locks in place very nicely. The blade is very sturdy and very sharp. All in all I am very pleased with the knife and I am happy to finally have a knife that I actually like to carry around with me.

This knife is ninja. Definitely a man's pocket knife...sharp out of the box, lighting fast speed assist, solid lock-out, and ready to go. I did the free super-saver shipping and got it sooner than expected. Instructions to operate and maintain simple and with correct sharpening method included. Fits very nice in pocket side with clip (reversible also). I carry this knife all the time and I can't hear other people talking because of the sound of how awesome this knife is.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Knife Worth Every Cent, April 20, 2009
This review is from: Kershaw Leek Serrated (Sports)
This knife is amazing. It's sharp out of the box and is now the only knife that I carry.

For those who are fans of the CBS show NCIS, this is one of the knifes that Gibbs uses.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice blade for the $, November 20, 2010

This is the second one of these that I have bought from amazon. Best price and free shipping can't be beat. The blade is the sharpest I have ever bought. The spring assist is fast and smooth. I showed this blade to a couple guys at work and they both bought one. About the only thing I don't like is that the pocket clip comes upside down from how it should. This is not a big problem though because it can be removed with a T-6 and moved to the other side. That is a very nice option.
