This review is from: Kershaw Ram Knife with Partially Serrated Black Tungsten DLC Coated Blade (Sports)
I was looking specifically for a black durable finish that was available in either assisted open or very ergonomic thumb stud (i have big hands). The Kershaw finish is one of the very few left out there that is not some cheap paint that will chip after first use. I have not been easy on the knife since I recieved it and the finish is still as good a the day it arrived!! The easy open "flipper" design is much more user friendly than any thumb stud could be and practically makes it easier to use than even spring assisted blades. I really like the grip panels too. They are very durable and solid making use with wet hands very sure and stable. Being in L.E. I need a solid, durable and reliable knife. I found it in the RAM knife!!

Very sharp out of the box. Opens easily after some practice. I use it for everything except spreading peanut-butter.

Kershaw R.A.M.,

This review is from: Kershaw Ram Knife with Partially Serrated Black Tungsten DLC Coated Blade (Sports)
I currently own several different Kershaw pocket knives but have chosen the 1910CKTST R.A.M. as my everday chore knife due to it's amazingly accurate sharp pointed tip and significantly more durable serrated portion for more difficult cuts. It is very easy to clean due to it's "open framed" design and extremely light weight and corrosion resistant. The only draw back for some will be the brittle blade characteristics which will not tolerate much abuse.
