This is an excellent pocket knife -- the right size for carrying in a pocket, very good steel which holds an edge, good feel in the hand, and attractive looking. This is the third Kershaw knife of this model that I have owned. I lost the previous two, and replaced them with the same model. What the name "Whiskey Gap" signifies I have no idea, but do not let the name put you off -- this is a great knife for everyday use.

I used to carry a knife twice the size of this Whiskey Gap knife and when I first received it I was a little disappointed. After a few days use I can't imagine carrying my old knife. This is a great little knife for everyday use. I took it backpacking with me without realizing it was in my pocket and found it to be a perfect camp knife even though it is small. Good looking and sharp. Buy one and if you don't like it give it away. You have nothing to lose.

This is a beautiful small pocket know that has the look and feel of a quality product.

I bought this knife for my boyfriend's birthday. It's a great size for carrying everyday, it's sharp as heck, and it looks elegant and beautiful. What more could you want? Kershaw makes great knives with integrity at a reasonable price.

I bought the knife as a wedding present for my husband. I had the handle engraved: one side with the date, the other with something mushy. He loved it. It's a great size to carry around, even in dress pants. The blade is surprisingly sharp and locks for when it's in his pocket. The wood isn't as attractive as I hoped that it would be, but it's definetely real wood (not plastic with wood grain).
