In searching the world for the finest harmonica players, it is always a pleasure to hear an artists of exceptional talent. Bruno De Fillipi is nothing short of amazing. For many years a reknowned Jazz guitar player in Italy, De Filippi turned to harmonica in later years. This CD gives us an excellent example of his talent.

Consisting mostly of harmonica, with some guitar pieces thrown in for good measure, the CD features a nice selection of old standards, European favorites and two compositions by De Filippi himself. On each cut he deftly plays with his back-up musicians, concentrating on presenting each song in it's best light, not overpowering it, simply giving the song thoughtful treatment.

This is CD is definitely a must for those wanting to hear great Jazz harmonica.
