Other things in their favor: they're thicker than other chips, so don't crumble as I'm devouring them; they're delightfully crunchy; and the salt-and-vinegar combination is heavenly. I tried to create an original line to describe this palate-pleasing taste treat, but couldn't beat what the manufacturer said: tongue-puckering tang and crunch. Isn't that poetic?
As for health values, since Kettle Chips are not peeled during preparation, I'm getting more nutrition, such as potassium and vitamin C. My mother would approve of that, and the fact that they're hand-cooked in small batches.
I often enjoy Kettle Chips as an afternoon snack with my favorite soda or iced tea, but they're also delicious with a tuna sandwich or a hot dog for lunch. Well, actually Kettle Chips go perfect with everything ... except "sweets," of course.
My only problem is that they're so delicious I can't stop eating them. That's the reason I chose these smaller packets; I figured 24 could last me almost a month, if I was a good girl, kept my appetite under control--and hid them from the kids! For the sake of fewer calories, I try hard and have succeeded so far. It isn't easy, but ...
Have I told you how much I love them?

The one ounce bags are great for children or if you want portion control with your snacking/meals habits. This product is great for kids lunches as it's just the perfect amount without overdoing the calories/fat/salt intake and will teach kids proper portion control.
This is not a good product if you want to snack in bulk as there are cheaper options if you buy larger bags. Each bag comes with around 15-20 chips depending on the sizes
Packaging wise it could use some work. The open-tab opens vertically which doesn't make much sense as you get disoriented from turning it to the side and having the text in the wrong position and may spill on occasion if you are not self aware. The only reason I think it is designed this way is that it discourage you from digging deep into the bag and getting your hands greasy as there is more open space for your hands to reach in. Also upon opening it's hard to re-seal prompting you eat it all in on go.
Overall great tasting product, individual packaging needs a bit of work 4.5/5

Over half the bags had a staleness to them. Was very disappointed in this box I received. Went through all the chips finally. I don't know if is a bag issue or bad batch mixed in?
I also like the individual serving packages. Helps me not to overdo it rather than just mindlessly munching like you can with a large bag of chips.
My only disappointment with these is that some of the flavors include a substance called "Maltodextrin". I am a type 2 diabetic and my physician recommends that I avoid maltodextrin due to it's profound effect on the pancreas. It's worse than white sugar or white bread for spiking blood glucose. In fact, she said anyone with a family history of diabetes, pre-diabetes, pregnant (gestational diabetes) should avoid maltodextrin which is made from corn or sometimes from grain. It's in many sugar free or snack products.
Though these are good and it was very nice to have a variety of flavors to choose from, I don't think I would buy again because of the maltodextrin. If they ever change that, I would definitely buy because these are really good tasting to me.

Takes pretty good - not too spicy. I wish they toned down on the sodium but I still enjoy it once in a while.Published 5 hours ago by L. Y.
