I have been an avid satisfied Amazon Customer for several years. My general impression of Amazon products has been excellent. Products ordered from Amazon are high quality, favorably priced and receive my rating of four or five stars. Unfortunately, this product, a residential playground slide, Kettler Wave Slide, has my dismal dissatisfaction and must be rated at one star or less.
I received the slide via truck shipment within a reasonable time after placing the order. After receiving and unpacking the slide I realized what a mistake I had made. Completely dissatisfied with the slide I offer my observations and evaluations as follows: PRICE: The slide is highly overpriced, I paid $480.00 for a slide that could have easily been purchased from a local retail store for much less, probably a sale price of less than $150.00. OVERALL QUALITY: The slide structure is made of flimsly thin wall steel tubing. The steps are made of cheap plastic moldings not much stronger than a plastic storage container. The slide, the actual slide down component, is made from of thin molded plastic that flexes out of alignment each time my 3 year old grandaughter uses the slide. PRODUCT ASSEMBLY: The slide, made in Germany, came with assembly instructions very difficult to read and understand. Some were written in the German language and all measurements are in the metric system. Assembly required several hours to assembe and dis-assembly the slide. Due to the poorly understandable instructions is was necessary to remove and replace wrong size screws, parts with the bolt holes in wrong locations etc. PRODUCT RETURN TO AMAZON: Opening and unpacking the large cardboard container required cutting into numerous parts and pieces to free parts packed in the box. After much difficultly unpacking the slide I realized that returning the slide via truck shipping was not practical and very difficult at best. With this im mind I decided to keep the slide and consider the order as a Leson Learned with a considerable $$$s loss. RECOMMEND THAT THIS SLIDE BE REMOVED FROM AMAZON LISTINGS. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNIT!

I set it up myself, and I'm only 5'3".
It's great, can be moved easily for mowing the lawn. I read the instructions and recommendations and do tell my children all about not rocking the slide side-to-side and having only one person at a time on it. Of course I'm ignored and have had no problems with tipping over or breaking (children or slide) when up to 4 kids at a time try to use it. Really happy with purchase. Doesn't get hot in the sun to badly either as it is plastic.
