Here's all you need to know:
It's a red bell. It rings. Loudly. It fits the handlebars securely. It does exactly what a bike bell is supposed to do.

A nice r-r-r-r-r-ing tone. Not just for kids.,

I got one of these because it appeared that some of the other bells had single "ding" actuators, and this one looked like it went r-r-r-r-ring. It does, and it's loud enough to warn pedestrians, other cyclists, and even nearby drivers (if their windows are open). It's a pleasant enough tone not to evoke resentment, unlike some of the horns that some avid (rabid?) cyclists recommend.
- Placement can be a bit difficult on handlebars with brake- and shift-levers. If you look at the illustration, the lever is on the right side, and its action requires it to be pulled toward you. I mounted it on the right side of the handlebars, just inside the shift-lever, with the top tilted back toward my chest, so I can flip it downward with my right thumb. This works well in terms of ergonomics, while keeping the bell in a position that drains if it gets rained on.

We purchased this bell for our two year old's Kettler Kettrike Air Happy Tricycle. It fits perfectly on the handle bars and was very simple to install with just one screw. Now everyone can hear him coming!

This is an excellent bell. It's red, so you will find it quickly in the heat of an emergency. It's loud, so others are more likely to hear you ring it over other noise, like street noise. You can mount it on the right and flick it with your index finger or mount it on the left and flick it with your thumb. The branding sticker comes off easily, which I view as a nice plus. I don't know why it's marketed for toddlers, this is all around better than any other bike bell I've ever seen.

I easily installed this bell on our Kettler Happy Nav. Can't see much going wrong with it as it appears to be very well made with high quality metals & high quality flexible but strong plastic. I'm pretty sure it's not waterproof but I don't think I will be taking our little guy out with his trike if it's really raining.

Haven't had it very long but so far it works like a charm and was easy to install. I worry about scaring people as I come up on them from behind on my bicycle on the trail I ride. Of course there are those who block the trail and need a reminder to move over. This thing gets their attention easily and snazzes up my bike too.

This bell was easy to install onto my son's tricycle. It's easy for my 17 month old to ring and has a classic bike bell sound. I'd highly recommend this bell.

I wish all bikes had bells, like europe, in portland Or, the big biking place, bikes sneak up on your left, whisper, "onyourleft" and scare you just for the fun of it. They pass as fast as they can, for fun, no bells.
I have biked for my entire life, and never meet such rude bikers. I aam not such a rude person, being from the midwest first, then oregon. With this bell I can ring a 1/2 tone a 1/2 block away which moves walkers to the side without causing heart attacks. I like this bell because of the ability to modulate the tone to 1/2 and 1/4 rings with finger pressure. When the walkers are lost in a haze, I just ring 1/4 tone, then 1/2 tone then 1 tone as I move up on them , just like Europe. Someday americans will stop hogging the walking/bike paths. This bell, used right will help. Use it early!!! not late.

It rings pleasantly, but loudly enough to be heard.
Red finish looks nice on my black folding bike. When the bike is in my bumper carrier on a parking lot, lots of folks can't resist ringing it as they walk past, and everyone smiles when they do it. Where else can you make so much happiness for around twelve bucks total?

It's your old-fashioned, metal, very sturdy, red tricycle bell, just the way you've always imagined a red bike bell should be. It's loud, however, as our 7-month got scared at first and cried. Once I showed him how to use the bell, and we taught him that it was okay to use it outside, he loved it! Our son can't reach the pedals on his trike (yes, I know, but we were too excited about it), but we bought it anyway. He can't mount the trike by himself so he crawls to the trike and uses the bell to tell us he wants to go outside. I know, how does he know?!? We are contemplating the removal of the bell, hehe.
