Kettler Metal Basket for Kettler Kettrikes Tricycles

We purchased this basket for my two year old's Kettler Kettrike Air Happy Tricycle. The basket fits just perfectly on the handle bars. It isn't too large or too small, just right for the tricycle's size and even leaves room for the Kettler bell.

For all of the negative previous reviews, why rate the seller and not the PRODUCT itself here??? If you've got a problem with Amazon, complain about them on THEIR ratings not the basket's!!! This is a great basket! Maybe next time try contacting the manufacturer about accessories before you buy!

Works perfectly with the Kettler Air Navigator. The basket is small - but then so is the trike! We can put quite a few small library books in it, or a few truckes for the park, so it is practical. We have not noticed any stability issues with the basket and are very pleased with it!

Easy on and easy off. Once you have something in the basket or you stop touching it, it won't move - even on bumpy terrain, but when you brush by the bike, it may pop off if you hit it just right. I like this and I hate it at the same time. I like that I can take it off so darn easily and it goes back on just as easy (basically it attaches simply by hooking onto the handle bars.)
It's nice having a basket up front, my daughter loves putting her toys, dandelions, rocks, etc. up front where she can see them.

Side note: if you handle bars don't got pretty much straight across, this is the wrong basket for your bike, get a different one.

the basket is a little smaller than i envisaged - but it fits the trike perfectly. We have added a cable tie, otherwise its easy for a curious toddler to remove over, and over, and over.......

My son loves this Kettler basket! Since the basket does not need to be permanently attached to handlebars, he puts it on his Air Happy Kettrike and Kettler Bingo bike. My son loves to put toys and other items he finds into the basket. The basket makes my son happy so I am happy!

This basket works fine with my Kettrike (I can't remember the model, but it's the basic $120 model), but it falls off ALL THE TIME. I'm giving it a 3 star review because this basket only works if you zip-tie it to the darn bike, LOL! Otherwise, once zip-tied it works great!

My 19 month old daughter absolutely LOVES this basket. Other reviewers complained about it being too small and that it is easily removed, but I don't agree with the first, and the second isn't a problem for me. My daughter fits her Elmo doll, a sippy cup, and some snacks into this front basket when we go to the park. It is the perfect size for this trike... any bigger and it would look absurd. Although this basket an be removed by a toddler, it doesn't move around while on the trike... it sits over the handle bars and has a U joint that rests beneath the handle bars. I plan to purchase a nameplate with my daughter's name and zip-tie it to the front, covering the "kettler" sticker logo. Overall, this basket adds a lot of fun, functionality, and style to the trike. I also purchased the red and black metal bell and it's cute, has a great sound, and I only had to show my daughter how to ring it a couple of times before she got it all by herself...I highly recommend both.

A plus for taking things to the park. My only complaint was with Amazon not packing it much better. The metal is so soft that I just pushed out the dents.

Got this to fit the high end kids Kettler Tricycle. The box design is very roomy and fits the toys well. This is the best add on we got vs. the bell, a horn, and the foot step (which was the worst add on, only used once). The basket will fall off rather easily, but we secured it with some ties and all has been well since. I would go for this basket again, over the plastic wicker baskets I remember.

Bought the Kettler tricycle basket for my son's KAZAM Balance bike (not a tricycle!), and it fit PERFECT! Now we can finally go on bikerides and pick up rocks and other "treasures" without me having to carry it all in my pockets! Perfect fit for a regular toddler/kids bike as well:-)
