Product Description

Size: 14oz

Keurig brewer performance matters. Descaling is an important process that removes calcium deposits, or scale, that can build up inside a brewer over time. Calcium and scale is non-toxic but left unattended, it can hinder your brewer's performance over time. Descaling should take place every 3 to 6 months to preserve the long-term health of your brewer.

I did not buy this from Amazon as I am a Keurig Club member and got it for a little less expensive but let me tell you, it is worthless as others have stated on here. I used it as directed after much frustration I was ready to throw out my $300 Keurig brewer because it just refused to descale using this. In fact, I went through 2 bottles spending around $40 !

Then someone told me to try white wine vinegar, full strength with a triple rinse after. I was skeptical but I did it and Viola, my beautiful brewer is now making wonderful tasting, no vinegar smell, coffee several times a day.

I plan on doing this about every 3 too 4 months at a cost of oh, $1.50 a bottle, I use the good stuff, lol and enjoy my Keurig.

So do yourself a favor and DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT every other item from Keurig I have ever purchased has been Top Notch, but not this one, consider yourself warned and if you're in the neighborhood, stop in for a nice cup of coffee.

We have 3 Keurigs in our life. We have had the problem everyone else has that they stop working after a while because they get clogged up. We have done the white vinegar thing, and also tried this Keuring brand descaling solution (which we found works faster and better than the vinegar -- although at a much heftier price).
The first thing you need to do is take the water tank and drip tray off of your machine and turn it over in your sink and spank the bottom of your maker. I am not kidding and not making this up -- it is a widely suggested trick on the Internet. Then use the vinegar or descaling solution -- then you give it another good spanking, then cycle through clean water. Your machine will work like new until the next time you have to do it over again.
We have found the filter deal helpful, too.

I purchased this product for my Keurig even though I realized it was a lot more expensive than other descalers. It was easy to use but I haven't seen any change in the way my Keurig is working. I won't spend the money again.

Very pricey, but required by our Keurig coffee maker. The first time I used it, a lot of gunk came out. We followed the instructions exactly and within a week our coffee maker was telling us we needed to descale again, so I bought another one of these. Haven't used it yet. I know there must be an alternative to this, as this costs way too much. I assume that high price is a gouge due to this being required for the coffee maker. Apparently you are supposed to do this every 2-3 months.

First off let me say we own the unit at our business and have not touched it for almost 2 years, needless to say it was really bad. Water was barely coming out, 10 mins to get a 10 oz cup out of it.Did as instructed, only I kept pooring the hot solution right back in the tank. Cycled mine close to 10 times but let it set about 15 minutes in between cycles. Then I ran clean water through it about 10 times. I had ordered a new machine thinking the worst, but its working great again. Item of note: Our water is horrible, our ice machine has scale all over it, so when we bought the machine we purchased the omni pure filters for it, they are suppose to help keep the scale down. That's if you change it as recommended and of course, we hadn't touched them for 2 years. But apparently it helps because our machine is running like new again. I recommend the filters and the cleaner worked great for me.

The descaling solution didn't solve any problems with the coffeemaker. It wasn't filling a cup completely, and the coffee tasted bad. I followed all the instructions to clean it. After I used the descaling solution, I ran an entire reservoir of water through the coffeemaker. Then the coffee tasted horribly of chemicals. I'll never use the descaling solution again. I had to buy a new Keurig, although the old one had seen only one year of use, about twice per week. Keurig seems to be well know for making coffeemakers that are great as long as they work. That's why people buy them, but know they'll have to be replaced regularly.

Used to descale my 11 month old keurig and it began to leak during the end of the process. WTF.
