Purchased a Keurig Cinnamon B70 brewer from Keurig. Was very happy with product while it worked. Had it about 6 months and it started brewing just 1/2 a cup. We did all the recommended cleaning, descaling, and using a paper clip to clean the exit needles. Nothing seemed to help. Called Keurig tech support. They stated that since we bought the item online and not from a store that they would not honor the warranty. I just feel for the price they charge for these machines it should last longer than 6 months.

I have now owned three of these models of brewer and each time some time into owning them the device stops taking in water from the reservoir to heat it up. The blue light will flash in the tank indicating it is low on water, which of course it is not.

The time varies to this malfunction, but the malfunction has occurred 3 out of 3 times making me feel pretty comfortable in saying it is a wide spread issue.

You can fix this by unseating the tank and re-seating it sometimes, other times you have to absorb the water in the tray beneath the tank (the one intake hole) with a paper towel and this corrects the issue. Why does this work? I have no idea but it does. The thing is this takes your brewer from this model to a one cup model that takes more time and effort to prepare a cup with might as well by the smaller cheaper one cup one since the both take 2 minutes to brew 1 cup.

This is frustrating to say the least, now I love the concept, the variety, the ability to just make a cup at a time but if they are going to break the same way each time I have to say the product is not worth the money and that is a shame because I had high hopes for the company and I was willing to give them several chances to make good on that promise.

Three strikes and you are out.

Best coffee maker I have ever owned. Fun, fast, and it even gurgles a little at the end of making a cup of superior tasting coffee(Green Mountain French Roast). I would highly recommend it. Dismiss the low ratings from the others. Unfortunatly there are problems in all manufacturing processes. Lemons are made even in the best brands...yes even cuisinart. Buy with confidence. You will enjoy it.

UPDATE.......UPDATE......UPDATE

It is now almost a year since I purchased this little gem...It is still plugging along. There has been no, I repeat, NO problems at all. I have purchased the "do your own cup" and load my own coffee from time to time. But as far
as water flow and performance, it works the same as the day I bought it. VERY SATISFIED!!!!

I had been using a small one cup maker for years and after listening to me complain about how hard it was to find filters for it anymore, a friend found this one for me. It was like going from a Yugo to a Cadillac! I love being able to make what ever size cup of coffee I want, whether its just a small normal cup or travel mug size and not have to guess with the water. I love being able to buy the different kinds of coffee, tea and hot chocolate for my guests or use a reusable filter to brew specialty blends for myself.

Loved the first of these so much, I had to buy one for my bachelor son (he raves about it too-no more trips to Starbucks), and then another as a gift for the hospital nursing floor that took such good care of my mother in her last days. The nurses thank me again and again as they can all bring in their favorite K-cups and enjoy a good cup without going to the hospital cafeteria. A terrific product that's easy to use and very easy to set up. This is a nice color too, blends with all my other black and stainless counter appliances by adding just a touch of warmth.

Pros: HOT Coffee/Water, Quick, No mess, Tons of Flavors, Use your own Coffee!
Cons: You may actually have to clean it once in a while.
Currently Deployed to Afghanistan, we have a Keurig B70 (reddish color) it was donated by the Chaplin Service before I got over here. It's in our Command Post were everyone can use it. I make about 3 cups a day and just about everyone who comes in makes a cup. Easily 20 or more cups are made a day and all different flavors. The only problems we have had are after people make Cocoa, flavored coffees, and the fruity flavored ones and then they don't clean it. Our simple solution is a paper clip! Open the lid, and poke the paper clip up in the holes in the top nip that dispenses the water. Run a couple of small cups of hot water and repeat. Viola keeps on working! We do use bottled water since the water over here is non-potable. Getting my very own when I get home!
Good luck with yours...AnoldSarge!

Has five brew sizes which is different from my older B70 which also had an ice
cup function which this one does not. It has temperature option to range 185 to 191 degrees F. Largest cup is same size as old machine.
