When i purchase this, i thought they were hot rollers...i was planning on returning them because i dont have the patience to sit and roll my hair. i decided to give it a try...roll it up section by section(start rolling the top part of ur hair first then the bottom half). Slept with them overnight..(yes a little uncomfortable but still slept well). In the morning i removed the rollers..put some hair spray and scrunch my hair a bit. it came out AMAZING. it wasnt curly like spirals..it gave me the "BEACH WAVE LOOK" which i love since i have such fine hair...i recieved so many compliments..it lasted all day. The best purchase i ever made.

The curlers work great, are easy to use, and don't leave unwanted creases in your hair. If you have thick or long hair you will need more than one box as 12 curlers won't be enough to cover your whole head.

I purchased these curlers because they were supposed to be easier to use - I was trying to cut down on the time it takes to roller set my hair. I have relaxed, long hair. I used these curlers on damp and dry hair. On damp hair, I used them to roller set my hair, rolling the curlers over my hair, and then went under a hood dryer. It took less time to secure the curlers and it was easier to do than the traditional magnetic rollers with clips but the curlers were not really taught (i.e., held tightly). The curls came out good though but I blow dried the roots after. I used them on dry hair (without heat), rolling under, and didn't get much curl. I would recommend using them on damp hair and then blow drying. Overall, it's pretty good for a quick set (if you're short on time). I'll continue to use magnetic rollers on my hair for my roller sets because they're cheaper and I get more body with them than these.

After waiting for over a month to receive this product...the final outcome was just ok. I think wrapping my long hair in rollers and keeping them in for a longer time would make this product work better. It does give waves, but I found that I had better wavy beachy hair with the Remington dryer with the wave attachment. Rollers take too long and for the money I spent...just wasn't worth it.

I was not impressed with these curlers. My velcro rollers work just as well if not better. I thought the concept was great, but just didn't feel they were worth the money.

Yes they stay in and so forth but they are way over priced and really not worth it.

I admit I am a klutz. I have shortish, not muchish hair. But even so, these were the hardest to manipulate hair curlers I've ever tried to use. I bought them as a time saving alternative to hot rollers and because they seemed like they might be easier to remove than velcro rollers. Well, they were easy to remove - because I could never get them to stay in. Time wise - it took me almost an hour during my "practice" session. That was my only session. Maybe they'll work for people with thick, long to medium hair and for those who are quite deft with their hand coordination, but they were of no help to me.

It is so hard to find rollers like these. These are the first rollers I have ever had that are so easy to use and dont hurt. The connecting bands that attach to the ball is so great! I got these through amazon and got them a few days ago. I washed my hair last night and tried these, wasnt expecting much since I have fine, limp, pin straight hair (when i go to the salon, the hairdresser ususally asks me why i flat iron my hair .. sigh, I digress). Anyway, I washed my hair last night and dried it and then put these rollers on. The 12 pack was enough for my hair. My hair is about 2-3 in past me shoulders and fine (but lots of it). Well, after I put them in, I ran the hairdryer over the rollers a couple of times and then sprayed them with some light hold hairspray and proceeded to put on my night face cream regime and brush teeth (maybe 10 mins). I took the roller out after that and couldnt believe what I was seeing in the mirror! I have never had that much instant volume. Its looked great. I didnt get beachy waves because I probably didnt leave them on long enough but the volume alone I was in love. Also, I have tons of layers in my hair so the rollers really defined them, they looked great, better than when I left the salon with a blowout last week!!! Of course, I slept on it and the next morning the waves were gone, but yet the volume remained and the layers looked more defined. Next time, I will try added some holding/styling product to my hair and then dry and add these rollers for more staying power. Great rollers.. I would recommend to everyone.

Actually receiving this item was a pain. I heard about this item through Lucky magazine but it seemed like the company was completely unaware of the write-up. Thus forth, I wasn't the only person who read the blurb and it seemed like the company received way more orders that it could handle. It took almost a month for them to restock and for me to receive the item.

I've used the curlers a few times so far and I'm still trying to find the best combination of time, hair wetness/dryness and product. My hair is very straight and very fine. The article in Lucky said to put the curlers in your hair after washing and when your hair is 50% dry followed by using the dryer on your hair in curlers. This method did not seem to work for me. It seems like I need to wait until my hair is almost completely dry, using a styling gel and leaving them in for as long as possible, blow drying and spraying with hair spray before and after. I'm usually trying to do my hair before work, so I haven't had a chance to experiment yet on leaving them in for a really long time.

They seem to create great volume, which is something I always need however I have yet to figure out how to get the beachy, textured waves that I want!
