As I've stated in a previous review, Bertie Higgins' music was my life saver. This album has some updated classics like "Key Largo," "Casablanca," and "Just Another Day in Paradise." However, you'll recognize "Kokomo," "Montego Bay" and "Two Pina Colads." All of these songs make you just want to get away to sun, sand, tropical turquoise water and blue skies (We here in Ft Walton are blessed to have sugar white sand and emerald green water). These songs speak of the easy-going, relaxed atmosphere that we are fortunate to enjoy. They will make you want to leave it all and come down to the islands - - - but if you can't, then just immerse yourself in his music and you'll be here - in spirit, at least.

Many years ago I bought this album, since turn tables are obsolete now I was really happy to find it on Amazon on CD. It has some beautiful Island,Key West songs. Most of which have been written by Bertie Higgins. His sister Gloria sings back up on a few of them and is especially beautiful in Key Largo. They are from Tarpon Springs, FL

I bought this CD because I love the song titles in this selection.
However, I found that some tracks are not the original ones, they were new recordings, including Casablanca and Just another day in paradise...this was not mentioned anywhere on the CD cover.
