Some people in town think the young women running the old hotel are witches just because they cackle a little on poker night. Okay, so sometimes they cackle a lot. And sure they may have to use a little hypnotism when their livelihood is threatened, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re sorceresses.
It’s not that they wouldn’t like to turn someone into a newt occasionally. When they were younger there always seemed to be someone looking to take advantage of three girls with an ailing mother trying to run a crumbling old hotel. But with the help of their special teachers they’ve grown into young women who can take care of themselves.
Their mother’s dying wish takes them on a quest to another hotel, this one across the country in Key West. But when an old adversary threatens their home and friends, it may be more than they can handle by themselves. They may have to find a real witch.

More About the Author

Raised by skydivers, Robert Tacoma spent his formative years in central Florida public schools during the week and at various jump centers across the state on weekends. He also learned to fish the waters in and around the Sunshine State, so you could say he grew to appreciate Florida from the air and water as well as the land.
Though he has never been to Texas, Robert can usually find it on a map. He currently lives in north central Florida and all his pets have run away.

It's another adventure in the Keys as three odd sisters look for a missing fourth. In Robert Tacoma's third book in the series he shows himself to be a developing author with a unique style that is immediately loveable and easy to read. Key Witch further explores the oddities that give Key West the nick name Key Weird. With new characters you are sure to fall in love with and some old characters that you love already if you read his first two books, Robert Tacoma creates a world of paranormal comedy and outright hilarious fun. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has read any of the Key books. For those who have not discovered this talented new weaver of tales, you can start with this one but you might enjoy it even more by starting at the beginning.

Since I'm up to date on all Tim Dorsey & Carl Hiassen, I decided to give Robert Tacoma a try. I'm so glad I did! I'm a big fan of Florida fiction - and these books really deliver. So funny! Can't wait for the next book.

An entertaining read, especially if you love Florida fiction. It really helps to not take silly, supernatural sequences seriously and just enjoy the tale.
