Ralph Dudgeon (BA, music education; MA, trumpet performance, San Diego State; Ph.D., music, University of California, San Diego), Associate Professor of Music, SUNY, College at Cortland, has appeared throughout the U.S., Europe, Canada, and Mexico as a soloist and conductor and has contributed articles to the
New Grove's Dictionary of Music and Musicians (6th ed.), the
New Grove's Dictionary of Musical Instruments, the
New Grove's Dictionary of Music in the United States, the
American Musical Instrument Society Journal, the
International Trumpet Guild Journal, Ovation, and the
