Difficult Read,

This review is from: Keys of Gnosis (Hardcover)
I would like to have been able to write a positive review for this book, but really cannot. It is a very difficult read - and I read a fair number of reasonably difficult texts in the area of philosophy, Buddhist studies and comparative religion. I think the prose style is quite good, but it is very, very difficult to form an idea of the overall position that the book is trying to elucidate. While there are some passages I responded to, on the whole, I couldn't make enough headway with the title to really get anything from reading it. I think, perhaps, it is the kind of material that needs to be supported by lectures, or at any rate, provided with more background and context within which to make sense of it.
