Provides a short overview of the Founding Fathers' thoughts on good government and what it takes to return to that good government. Another quick and easy read.

This book is so fantastic!!! A must read for every American and their children. Maybe it should be required reading in high school, too.

Really enjoy his books and his lectures. I think everyone should have the information he has. It is vital to government and good knowledge of our country.

I believe it is the Christian's duty to understand how our Founding Fathers intended the people of this great land to be governed...David Barton kindly takes your hand and leads you to truths you didn't learn in school about good governing.

In some ways, this book was not what I was expecting- It was relatively short and basically staple bound, but I was very pleased with the impact and depth of information covered. Barton maintains and supports foundational christian principles throughout the book and supports these concepts with selections from the founding fathers. This is a great added resource for students in private or home schools, and certainly something I would recommend to anyone of voting age. As Barton articulates so well in this short work, we have a responsibility to be an informed citizenry- this book is a tool that can help us become just that.

David Barton is an expert on the subject of America's founding. Keys to Good Government really shows how our nations founding erected a government of the people, by the people and for the people. Utilizing our founding document and writings of the founders themselves, this book creates a defense for a moral government that exists to protect the God-given rights of its citizens. A government that is limited and upholds a moral standard; therefore creating an environment for a more civil society. Keys to Good Government is well written and well documented, and is a must read in our current day and age.

As soon as I can I am going to buy more of this book "Keys to Good Government" by David Barton! I have been a voter in the USA for nearly 56 years; this little book gave me a clear view of what makes a good candidate for any political office. Those traits Are what I learned to look and listen for by reading. David has a way of writing that brings the important out in an interesting manner... jd

David Barton has done an excellent work in researching all information about our nation's governmental heritage. He has created an enjoyble and informative book to read. It is sad that many are so ignorant of our foundations.

Really? Could we try different points of view for once. You would think that after twenty or thirty years or so we would have seen some positive results in this country. Let me guess David Barton is a reincarnation of the original founding fathers so he knows what they really wanted and he's the only one who will give you your life liberty and pursuit of happiness. Think things through for once.
