I don't think too many jazz fans are aware of this fine CD that came out in 96. This is one of those CD's that has enduring value and you will play it over and over again over time. Every song on this CD touched my heart and I cannot believe that I am the first one to send a review on this CD. Terrific songs, also some vocal duets with Philip Bailey of Earth, Wind & Fire. Definitely a "must have" for any lover of smooth jazz. Joe is terrific! Get this CD!

I first heard JoeMac live when I stumbled in Terilli's on Lower Greenville (Dallas,Tx) in '96. Why I did not immediately go out & buy this CD that weekend, I cannot tell you, but I deeply regret it. The whole CD is upbeat,with choice vocals on some songs and guest appearances by Grover Jr, Philip Bailey, and other "old schoolers" with a fresh feel from beginning to end. McBride has a "Samplesque" quality about his play (a la Rainbow Seeker) with a funky edge. An absolute must CD for any contemporary jazz affecionado. Don't hesitate, like I did, get it now!!

Much like most of the reviewers on here..I stumbled across Joe McBride with one of his songs, "I can never get enough" and for a moment I thought it was George Benson singing Until someone told me differently. Now after a year I've become a big fan of his songs including my favorite, "Texas hold em'" Joe McBride is the Go-to guy for contemporary Jazz with unique soothing flavor that gets at your heart every time you listen, and this CD is of no exception.

Utilizing every element and with help from people like Philip Bailey, Earth, wind, and fire, etc. every song on this CD will make you think; get at your heart and make you want to reply certain songs over and over again. "I can never get enough" and "It's Got to be love" are both of my favorite tracks but each other song is just as much memorable which gives me profound admiration for Mr. McBride's work. And what's more interesting, this CD is just a taste of his many other great works if you didn't get to know Joe McBride you must purchase this CD trust me you will not be disappointed. And all of this is coming from a 28 yr old Music lover.
