The Keyspan FireWire Card provides a simple and affordable way to add high speed FireWire (IEEE 1394) ports to your PC or Mac, making it simple to connect to DV camcorders, disk drives, scanners and other FireWire devices. The card is available in a PCI version for desktops and a CardBus version for laptops. The PCI version of the Keyspan FireWire Card features an innovative "3+1" port design. You may connect FireWire devices to the three external FireWire ports, or you may connect two devices externally and connect one device internally. The CardBus version of the Keyspan FireWire Card adds one FireWire port to any CardBus-equipped laptop. Both Keyspan FireWire Cards feature Texas Instruments' FireWire chips... ensuring the highest level of compatibility and performance.
