This machine is simple, well thought out and everything I need in a vacuum sealer. It is attractive to leave on the counter top and does not utilize much space. It can also be picked up with one hand and easily stored when you want it out of the way. My favorite part of this machine, however, is the ability to remove the bottom where the meat juice or fruit juice might be sucked from the bag into the vacuum channel and put it in the dish washer for cleaning. The sealing strip is on the top rather than the bottom which is also an advantage keeping the strip clean and with less damage. I have had two other vacuum sealers and prefer this machine. I have learned that as long as you have a duct for accessories it is better not to have a lot of bells and whistles on the machine itself.

So far this sealer has worked wonderfully. It's something I should have bought a long time ago. I freeze a lot of fresh fruits and its also great for keeping coffee beans fresh.

It's simple, and works very well. The wife and I are dehydrating food and using this sealer to package it for long term storage to survive the onslaught of delusional hopey changy socialism that is poised to destroy the United States of America as we know it.
