Bought this to check out the back yard at night while the dogs are out. Extremely bright light covers the whole yard. The construction is solid and does a great job for us. It takes up very little space, easy to store in a kitchen drawer considering another for the car, would be perfect in the glove box without being a space hog. This is just a handy thing to have around for emergency use.

Picked up this sturdy little flashlight on a Gold Box deal and was surprised at how bright and lightweight it was! It fits perfectly in my hand (size large) with the power button right under my thumb, instead of the tail-cap button style, allowing one-handed operation. Throws plenty of light in a wide beam making it perfect for night-time walks with others, pets, or alone. Bright enough to: check under the hood, change a tire, look in a garage or shed, or to check for critters in the backyard at about 75 feet or more. Only con is that it will roll if left on a non-level surface. Very happy with my purchase that arrived sooner than expected. It's a "keeper"! -Dr. Maxx

I put this in the console in my car shortly after getting it 10 weeks ago with fresh batteries. Tried to use it today and all three batteries were dead. The car is garaged 99% of the time and the console is between the seats and elevated off the floor. I've had LED flashights sit in a drawer for over a year and not have this problem.I put fresh batteries in and it took several tries inserting the battery pack and unscrewing and re-screwing the cap before it came back on. Not something I would want to rely on for emergencies in my car. This one goes in the kitchen drawer. When it works - it is very bright. I gave it 3 stars, rather than 1 star, because flaky problems on a certain & of units seem to be endemic to LED flashlights in this price range according to the reviews I've read.

LED bulbs last forever but unfortunately the piece of junk flashlight breaks after about a year. I would have never bought this thing if Amazon had not listed it as under "deals". No wonder they were so cheap. It never actually worked right, you always have to jiggle it. I just threw it away.

This is a great little flashlight, although the lens area is pretty big, but that is what you get when you have a 28 led light.

The flashlight works intermittently. Sometimes I have to hit it with my hand to get it turn on. It is quite bright and would be a good deal, except for the not working part... Amazon was great with the return. Amazon is terrific, the flashlight; not so much.

Just received my order yesterday. When I opened the Amazon box, I was a bit surprised that it just came in a plastic bag with only a sticker that had a code on it. Anyway, it did not work. Requested replacement (thought I'd give it one more try), but no more in stock (even though Amazon says that it is in stock). *Ugh* will try another brand like Fenix.

I ordered a 2-pack of these flashlights. They are a nice compact size but neither one worked so I am returning them for a refund. The lights would only flicker on briefly if I shook them or hit them on my hand.

I was very impressed with the light-power coming out of this little thing.
Seems to equal an old fashioned 2D cell flashlight.
But the one I got had intermittent cut-outs on power. I traced the problem
to being lack of ground continuity from the end-cap, into the body of the light.
So I took a wire wheel to the threads of the end cap and removed the paint.
Once I had raw aluminum, the problem was solved.

I bought two of these. They are pretty good little lights for $10. One of the battery contacts popped off while I was trying to put the batteries in, but I was able to press it back on and it doesn't seem to affect the light. I'll just be careful when I change the batteries to make sure I don't lose it.

These aren't the brightest lights I have, but they're definitely better than something you'll find at Walmart or Staples for $10.

I would recommend them to anyone looking for a small reasonably bright flashlight to keep in the car, house or for camping.
