Lightweight and BRIGHT flashlight,
This review is from: Keystone 9B 9-LED Compact Aluminum Flashlight with Batteries, Blue (Tools & Home Improvement)
I was looking for a little flashlight to keep in my bag for those times when you need a little extra light, like getting into the garage at night, or looking around in the trunk of my car. This one fits the bill! The light produced is crazy bright and I don't even notice I've added something new to my purse. I also like the housing that holds the batteries--it is easier to manage than the old school flashlights where you slide the batteries in and hope they don't come loose at some point.

Although I own several much more expensive flashlights this one gets the most use because it's small enough to be left on my desk. It's very bright which makes it great for finding those small objects that have a knack for ending up on the floor; watch pins, micro SD cards, and tiny screws come to mind. It's very easy on batteries too. I use the Sanyo Eneloop Rechargeable AAA's and have only had to change them once in 9 months. I use this flashlight approximately every other day and on a few occasions it's had extended on time to repair a computer. I've dropped it several times including once down the stairs and it wasn't any worse for the wear. The lack of a lanyard is my only complaint. I ended it up making my own by slipping a paper clip through the lanyard hole on the end cap and looping a shoelace through it. You can buy lanyards, but I'm not inclined to spend money on one for a $5 flashlight. Now I don't drop it so often. I deducted a star for that. This is a good all around flashlight in a small package that can be used for most applications.

I've had this light for a while after winning it at a party. It's awesome, just great. I usually keep it in my purse. It's illuminated dark stairwells, walks at night, and helped change flat tires at night. Great light for every day use... and the LEDs are BRIGHT. A great choice for anyone looking for a portable light.

Bright, but quality control issue...,

I got 2 of these, they are bright! One was DOA though, the batter compartment was put together bass ackwards... Again, Amazon customer service is amazing, got one over night and that seemed to work much better. So I'm knocking down 1 star for quality control, but Amazon totally rectified the situation!

I got a couple of these for use at home and in the car. They are small and compact and use 3 AAA batteries. Mine came with a small strap and is pretty useless as I can only get a couple of fingers through the loop. The case is anodized aluminum and seems pretty rugged. They claim they are weatherproof but the O-ring in mine seems very flimsy and doesn't seem to seal well. The lights are bright and they are rated at 15,000MCD with is about the same light as a 12.5 watt bulb at 2 to 3 feet. They are good for emergencies or just to have while out hiking or hunting. They are lightweight, fairly rugged and fit into your pocket. The flashlight has a rubberized push button for on/off. We have a multi-floor home and you need something to guide you down the stairs during a power failure at night. Bad weather and all considered, you need to have a handy emergency light.

LED bulbs last forever but unfortunately the piece of junk flashlight breaks after about a year. I would have never bought this thing if Amazon had not listed it as under "deals". No wonder they were so cheap. The button got stuck and it wouldn't turn on.

I ordered several of these for stocking stuffers. I really liked them, but when I was putting the batteries in them I noticed that the blue came off onto my hands....that's not good. It did come off with soap, but I'm sure this isn't supposed to happen. I kept them and put them in the stockings anyway because I didn't have time to go out and get something else.

it works. The light is bright enough. It is a bit rough around the edges--not as well made as my other LED flashlights. Just OK.

It's not super powerful..doesn't throw a huge massively super bright beam..like some of my more expensive LED's..but it does the job I got it for. Having it hanging around on a wall in case of a power outage[which has happened recently...to be grabbed and used in the house. Although now I've picked up a Coleman 70 lumen from Wally's is the World[Wal-Mart] for everyday use. I use the coleman every night When I go up to the local park to walk the dog.

I ordered 6 of these and 4 came without straps, although you can see the hole where the ring that holds the strap is supposed to be. The light is bright and the flashlight lightweight. I think the kids will like them - we'll just have to improvise for the 4 missing straps.
