A Remarkably Charismatic Must-have Recording!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Khachaturian: Sonata And Dances (Audio CD)
This CD combines the charismatic music of Aram Khachaturian with the emotional but sensitive artistry of Hideko Udagawa and Boris Berezovsky. The artists play so well together here that their teamwork enhances these fine twentieth century works. One would expect a superb Russian artist like Berezovsky to capture the Russian and Armenian soul but for a Japanese to do so is extraordinary. Perhaps it is because she studied with the famed Nathan Milstein. I loved the video of "Sabre Dace" on this enhanced CD. You could see, as well as hear, Ms. Udagawa's passion. For these, and many other reasons, this CD is a keeper!
