cube did it again, this whol;e cd bumps, maybe khop should replace mack 10 in westside connection, wc, and kokane guest styar on here which really hypes it up oh yeah kurupt stops by making it look like deathrow in this mutha,good cd who said the west was dead nobody just don't wanna kick the real stuff no more.

If this had been dropped right after Cube's War album, it would be tight, but people have forgotten about Khop. I think that the label killed his career. "Da Ready ROck" showcases his skills as well as "Khop And Da Brain." I also like the joints with Kurupt and Dub C. If you really like West Coast hip hop that showcases real talent, get this album. The obnly place that the album falls short is the production.

Short Khop isn't forgotten. We remeber the bomb raps on Cube releases but now it's his time to shine. The songs is tight and the flow is tight. the content you should judge for yourself but it's definetely something to bang in the trunk. Keep doing ya thang khop.

Khop is good, real good. In this day n' age the South runs the hip-hop game... I needed something different, something with that ol' West Coast feel to it, something with bass heavy beats. Needless to say, I got just that with this album. I have always been a big fan of Cube, especially his "War" album. On that album Cube has him featured in a ton of tracks, including most of the chorus's. That album is where most of us first heard Khop, & glad we did cause he brings it like nobody else. Khop has to have one of the most unique voices in the industry bar-none... It's just plain sick. Nobody sounds like Khop. Khop is Khop, & I like that. In addition to that, nearly every track slams with that ol' West Coast feel. Consistent bass-heavy beats is what you get through the whole 55 min. If you like Cube, WC, & Mack-10, you will like Khop. Khop's voice is what makes him unique. If your thinkin' about buying this, do yourself a favor & just buy it. To me this is a classic West Coast album, even though it really never made it... & it's a shame that he only released one.

Short Khop did a good jod with this one. It is wort the money. He got good beats. This album is a hit. This is a CD that you could bump in your car or at home. This CD was well made. If you are contemplating buying this album, then I should tell you to get it. I am gonna bump this CD until his next one comes out!!!

Mr. Short Khop did a good debut album. I thought he was pretty good on Ice Cube's "Pushin' Weight". Then he dissappeared and forgot about him. Now with Dollaz Drank and Danks hitting the radio with one of the tightest west coast beats, forced me to buy Da Khop Shop. It starts off bangin' especially number 2. I like W.C. on track number 7 when he comes in for the second time. The skits are pretty funny also. I sugguest you buy this album right now.
