A good read!,
By MGBguy "mgbguy72" (VT United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Khumbu Document (Paperback)
I read the Khumba Document a few years ago, and I have been hoping to see a sequel to this facinating novel. The women protagonists of two different eras are keenly developed as believable characters. The plot transcends time, which makes the reader ponder how events of the past influence the present.
If you enjoyed Dan Brown's DaVinci Code, you will enjoy the Khumbu Document.

Khumbu - I like it!,
By Stephen Adams (Vermont) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Khumbu Document (Paperback)
Adam has quite the book on his hands. His description and over all character development are fantastic. The Khumbu Document entraps the reader in a wonderful journey through time and keeps the pace moving. Adam has not only influenced my life in his writing but in his teachings and his love for knowledge. I hope only the best for him.

This review is from: The Khumbu Document (Paperback)
The Khumbu Document is the exciting tale of two women, emneshed in the mystery of an ancient document. As the two women set out to search for the meaning and signifigance of this ancient manuscript, both begin a journey of self-discovery. The quest to understand the document paralells the search for meaning in their own lives, understanding familial relationships and their places in the universe. Qustions are answered and histories discovered in this engaging novel of the lives of two women of different times, connected by a document of unknown origin, that guides each woman towards self-discovery. I greatly enjoyed this book.

Khumbu Document--Strange Name, Good Book,
By Jason Robtoy (Enosburg Falls, VT USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Khumbu Document (Paperback)
I found The Khumbu Document to be a great novel for a variety of reasons. Although somewhat academic in style, Rosenberg's prose flows easily and his vocabulary is amazing. The plot of the novel is complex yet not confusing. His characters are fully developed, investing the readers in their fates. The author scatters information in the book like a farmer scatters seeds in a field, and while some pieces of information, such as knowledgeable descriptions of Paris and Boston, are not really essential to the plot, they all help the reader trust the author with the more abstract information that is integral to the story. I felt like I learned something while I read and enjoyed this book.
