Named after renowned Dutch architect, Hendrik Berlage, the Hendrik Collection is a gorgeous family of contemporary fixtures that honor the man who was regarded by many as the "Father of Modern architecture". Much like Berlage himself, the Hendrik Collection is regarded as an intermediary between modern and traditional styles. Classic lines are enhanced with a soft touch of current style cues to work in a number of aesthetic environments. The 1873OZ 18-Light Hendrik Chandelier measures 50-1/2-Inch in diameter with a body height of 41-1/2-Inch. Chandeliers are frequently used in dining rooms and in the foyer but can be an eye-catching focal point in any room of the house. A Old Bronze finish is partnered with light umber-etched cylindrical glass shades for a perfect balance of style and uncluttered design. The 1873OZ uses eighteen A19, 60-Watt (maximum) bulbs that are dimmable allowing for a gentle cascade of light perfect for a quiet dinner party or to shine brightly on a lively family dinner. For energy savings, this chandelier is suited for use with self-ballasted, 18-25-Watt compact fluorescent bulbs. This fixture is sold one per package, complete with 68-Inch of extra lead wire, 5-Inch diameter canopy and 72-Inch of Old bronze chain, allowing for easy installation on multiple ceiling heights. The 1873OZ must be supported independently of the outlet box unless the outlet box is UL listed for the weight to be supported. Certified and listed to UL/CSA/ETL standards for dry location use in the USA and Canada.
