WOW! Sam Glenn kicked my Attitude! This book inspired us with basic principles and daily reminders to keep our attitude in check. We've already seen such positive results in our business and in our relationships. We didn't realize how much our attitude effected so much that we do and we can choose it to be positive or negative. I just finished reading Sam's new book, and I feel renewed. It was easy to read, well organized and presented in a format that will make its contents memorable. I know that I will use this book often as a reference when navigating through lifes' journey. Every chapter has some insightful and helpful information. I would recommend this book to every person who is serious about improving their attitude and position in life.

Actually - if you only buy one book in your entire life - this is it. Sam Glenn's "A Kick in the Attitude" goes beyond the usual self-help stuff to give you REAL ideas that you can use - things that apply to everyone. Plus - it's a fun read - and perfect for the ADHD reader (thanks Sam!). Have given several copies as gifts - friends, co-workers and my kids. Reading this is a great way to start 2010!

Sam explains how valuable your attitude is and the impact it has on your life and the lives of those around of those around you, and how you can use your attitude to achieve your goals. I have shared this book with clients, family members, and coworkers and all have loved it. A Kick in the Attitude is an excellent resource to read as a group or to use exerts from to kick off a meeting. This is a book that you will read many times and each time gain new knowledge and techniques for how to live the life of your dreams. A Kick in the Attitude is a quick yet powerful read and a great resource for anyone who needs encouragement or wants to learn new tools to reshape their attitude and life. Reading this book has made a huge change in how I view and live my life and not only have I benefited from the wisdom in this book but those around me have benefited from positive changes in me after reading a Kick in the Attitude.

I went to one of Sam's seminars a few months ago, and was totally blown away by his energy, his charisma, and his incredible ability to lift the spirits of the whole room! I first bought this book there, and read it in one sweep!

I felt so energized once I was done, it was incredible! I got it! He has such a genuine way of sharing his life, and how he turned it around for the better! This book is inspirational, motivating, makes you laugh, and probably shed a few tears... But it will undoubtedly raise your spirit, improve your life, and definitely change your attitude!

I am on my third read now, and because I refuse to separate myself from it (don't you always keep your jumper cables in your car? what good are they to you if you lend them to everyone and anyone??? LOL!), I bought two more copies! Yep, you read right! One that I am routing amongst my most cherished friends (because they deserve it), and another copy that I will be giving to the owner of the company I am working for. I hope she'll see the value in this amazing book, and will get some of those basic principles applied to her company! We could all benefit from Sam's insights, and wonderful humor!

So if you are still wondering if you should buy a copy of this book. Don't. Buy 2 right away! I guarantee you, you will love it!

Are you working in an office where just about everyone complains and complains? Or one with a bully who rules through intimidation? Or maybe you are working for a place where everyone pretends to be happy--and the constant backstabbing is upsetting you so much that you are looking at this book?

Sam Glenn would like to tell you how to change your attitude but, surprise, surprise he doesn't blame you for feeling down! Isn't that refreshing?

Glenn gives the usual advice about humour and spending time readjusting your mood, but what makes this book shine is his point about courage, not tolerating bullies and being yourself. When I read the chapter about bullies a lightbulb went on! This went beyond the "power of positive thinking" to dealing with the very real enemies of well being. How common it is to have an entire office dominated by a bully--not the boss mind you, but an office bully who rules through gossip and intimidation. Dealing with this kind of stuff is upsetting--especially in the first few years of your career. But not dealing with it can be so overwheming that you find your attitude toward everything being affected.

Glenn has a wide variety of strategies and good habits, all of them worthwhile including dreaming big, living healthy, taking the highroad (a tactic not to be mistaken for tolerating dishonesty or bullying). I like this a lot. The writing is jargon free. You may know quite a bit of this, but its an excellent refresher and fun to read.

I found this to be a good book. Good attitude adjuster, as well as helpful tips to combat the fatigue that bad attitudes can foster. The first read is an easy read, the second read is a good read to glean the points to use.
