A ton of features are packed in this little half-DIN dash-mount box. You get nine bands of 12dB cut or boost (one especially for bass), two 18dB/octave active crossovers (one high-pass and one low-pass), a sub-bass output controller, and lots more.

Eight Bands of Graphic EQ
The 03KQ9 features 8 Bands of equalization centered at 125Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz, 4kHz, 8kHz and 16 kHz. Boost or cut with a range of +12 to -12dB.

Separate Sub-Bass-RCA Level Control
Set how loud the subwoofers play and turn them up and down (0 to +6 dB)without changing the equalizer settings.

Variable Frequency Sub-Bass Equalizer
The bottom EQ slider is for the Sub-Bass, and features a variable frequency selector. Choose the frequency between 40 Hz and 60 Hz at which the bass boost or cut will occur (with cut of -12 and boost of +12 dB).

Two 18dB/Octave Active Crossovers
Dial it in with low pass (60-120 Hz @18 dB/octave) and high pass (100 Hz @ 18 dB/octave) electronic crossovers.

Equalizer Defeat Switch
This button will turn the equalizer portion off for comparison between an equalized signal and the natural sound of your stereo.

Front and Rear RCA outputs
Provided for universal connection to a variety of different head units. High level inputs are also provided.

Dual Illumination Colors
Set the illumination switch on the rear of the chassis for green or amber lighting to match your vehicle's dashboard or to fit your personal taste (EQ slider lights are always red).

when the volume is turn down i can hear a lot of engine noise. but while it turn up it sounds great. and i know everyone may say make sure its grounded good. but it is. i disconnected this EQ and the engine noise was gone.

Excellent unit - provided me with a way to biamp my factory system with after market speakers and subwoofer. Hookup and configuration were simple enough. Used RTA software with a calibrated mic and laptop computer to get my system dialed in using a pink noise CD. I am extremely happy with the final results. Thanks to Kicker for a reasonably priced unit with the features I needed to get my vehicle's sound system set up properly.

Excellent processor that gives you precise control, only drawback for me was the LED's are very bright red that are not adjustable leading to hiding the unit rather than having it mounted for easier use.
