Got these to replace my factory 6x9's and they sound great. If you dont have any subs then you'll be happy just installing them with out an amp since they sound very clear and crisp. If you have subs that will drown out the mids and highs then put an amp on these, they can handle it and sound even better with it. I recommend these to anyone looking for high quality at a low price!

These Kicker 6 x 9's are the best audio upgrade that are inexpensive and good quality. I just put them in my Pontiac G6 and they sound great. They are excellent with highs and mids, and great with the lows. Don't go in expecting hard or heavy bass, and you will no doubt love them.

I installed these in the rear of my 93 Lincoln Town Car. These things are CRISP and Nice BASS with GREAT MIDS and HIGHS! They pound and have a thunder clap from hell! I have a DEH-2200UB Pioneer head unit and I think that these speakers and Stereo are a match made by the creators of the universe, No Lie! I had to play music through the speakers for an hour or so at mid level, just to break them in and let em warm up so to speak. After that I was able to turn them way up (after adjusting my equalizer on my head unit) and they were driving my friends to cover their ears, these guys are car audio junkies and know KICKER always delivers , These 6x9's couldn't help but bring a smile to their faces ,I been smiling since I pulled em out the box. GREAT BUY! QUALITY SOUND cant wait to get the 6x8 component version for the front doors. These are an awesome investment couldn't be more happy!

i got these speakers in my 2000 Monte Carlo and they really bump! I pull up to my friends house and ppl ask me what kind of subs i have and i tell them i don't! my friend bought some pioneers for his car and they weren't as good as these! kicker is the way to go!

Great product. Got them today and installed no problems. Work great, not the best bass but then again what 6x9's have that? This is an amazing product that I will buy again. Kicker is the way to go when low on cash.

Good mids not as much bass as i though they would be but all around great speaker for the money. I have them running off a 4 channel 600w audio acoustics amp.

This item was exactly what I needed in my car! Came a lot quicker than I thought it would as well!

these kickers are great for the price and are clear i have them hooked up to a boss amp and they play really good highs

First off i have a pair of these in my doors of my truck and they sound awesome but I am also pushing the max rated wattage but you have to to any speaker really to make them sound to their potential. Put's out pretty good bass also. I was so impressed with these and was in the market for home speakers for my 5.1 surround a/v receiver I ordered a pair and also a pair of ported 6x9 boxes to use as bookshelf speakers instead of spending a lot more on other brands/bookshelves. They sound very good and go really loud in my house but also I am pushing 150 watts per channel. These are rated for 4 ohms and most receivers are 8 ohm so wire them in series or don't crank your receiver up or you'll blow it out if it's not rated for it. Nobody does this with car speakers and makes me wonder because it sounds pretty darn good for cheap. I had put in a jewel cd in just to see how it handles vocals and man! I understand what it means to have people say it seems that the singer is right there in the room with you. You can hear every detail and freq response is 30hz-20khz. Maybe why they sound good for bookshelf's is because of the 2 inch mid most likely. A lot of 3 way 6x9's are not rated like these are and have the 2 inch mid/.5 tweeter. rated at 92 db and my receiver pushes these pretty good but haven't went for full power yet to see if it starts to distort. They will start to distort in my truck if too loud but also they are running free air not boxes so maybe why. Otherwise these are very good speakers and will not buy anything else but kicker. I am not recommending hooking these up to home receivers if you do so it's at your own risk and understand what you are doing.I just wanted to state what I did and am very happy what came out from doing this.

The 6x9 kickers are very good speakers. Ive had them for about two months now and theyve treated me great. Music is clear. But if your looking for a subwoofer sounding speaker just get a subwoofer. They sound awesome with my 12" MTX Thunder w/1000watt kenwood amp. I recommend this speaker for a very good price.
