5.0 out of 5 stars Kicker subs are loud
I bought 2 of these subs (2 0hm) and a sealed hatch enclosure. You can't beat the price at $[...] a piece. These bad boys thump, they hit the lows real hard and the mids as well. I have them wired for 2 0hms (800w rms total). I bought the kenwood kac-9104d amp, it's 900w rms @ 2 ohms and it definitely pushes these subs. People think they're system is loud at a red light,...

People think they're system is loud at a red light, then I turn mine up all the way and every car's mirrors are shaking around me and people get pissed. That's why I love it. If I turn my amp up all the way I'm sure I could blow me ear drums. Installation is fairly easy if you know what you're doing, otherwise I would do some research, save some money, and do it yourself. Overall these are very good subs, would recommend to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars BOOM, June 5, 2011

WOW!! Kicker makes quality products that last a good while. These are the best(I mean loudest) 12 inch subs for a decent price. I have two of them in a small dual 12 box with a 1600 watt amp and none of my friends systems even come close!!! Its a way to make a girl wet my x would say :) lol My rear view mirror never stay in one place, change in drink holder rattles with everything else not strapped down lol, and cars who pull up next to me with a cell phone gets pissed. In short words they are the best subs ive had for the price and i havnt had any problems

I am just starting out in car audio and these subs are truely amazing. I have them in a bandpass box with four tuned holes and it knocks so hard. The quality is amazing, I just can't say anything bad about them

BUYER BEWAREE.

5.0 out of 5 stars Boom Boom, November 3, 2011
This review is from: Kicker CompVR 07CVR122 12-Inch 2-Ohm DVC Subwoofer (Electronics)
I will buy nothing else but kicker subs from now on. Give it a few days to loosen up and turn your gain down. I have it wired to a alpine 450 mono block 2 ohm and boy it kicks hard!

i bought 2 of these with a power acoutic 2000 watt amp they can take abuse like no other the alpines have much better sound quality but if you want to overpower blast for extended periods of time and so on with things you probobly shouldnt do go with kicker in a shared atrend box with 12 guage wire and you will be impressed if your a person looking for just a loud boom for your hip hop or other bassy music.

5.0 out of 5 stars lose ur hearing, June 15, 2011
This review is from: Kicker CompVR 07CVR122 12-Inch 2-Ohm DVC Subwoofer (Electronics)
I've been using this subs over 3 years and didn't have issues with it. This thing hits hard and loud. I'm running it with hifonics brutus 1200 watts RMS on a 1cu.ft each speaker sealed box. It is placed on my trunk ,too loud that it I was pulled over twice. This could make u loose your hearing. Everytime I drive home with loud music my ear starts ringing afterwards, so beware. And it also can make vibrations in the whole car, ur back, teeth and ur vision while playing music, and.could be heard blocks away.

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't go wrong with these, June 7, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Kicker CompVR 07CVR122 12-Inch 2-Ohm DVC Subwoofer (Electronics)
These Subwoofers are awesome. They hit lows very good, midlows not perfectly but hey under $100 each, that's a good buy. 400Rms each that's enough to satisfy any bass enthusiast not competing of course. They sound very very good, you won't find 12's JL Audio or Alpine that sound this good at this price.

Buy them you won't regret it.

4.0 out of 5 stars A lot of Bang for your money, February 19, 2011
This review is from: Kicker CompVR 07CVR122 12-Inch 2-Ohm DVC Subwoofer (Electronics)
The CompVR is a beast. I really like this sub. The sound quality is really good. The motor coils it uses allow it to withstand a lot of punishment thus increasing the magnitude of the sound. It uses SoloKon for strength and accuracy which allows the volume to go up a few notches higher than with other subs. All in all, this is a great product. Its definitely worth the money

This review is from: Kicker CompVR 07CVR122 12-Inch 2-Ohm DVC Subwoofer (Electronics)
You just can't beat the value on these subs. I would expect to pay twice as much for sound like this, easily. Worth a look.
