these subs are nice, they have pounding bass. i set off car alarms with them!

I purchased this sub to replace one that wasn't performing as I wanted.
It went in a sealed box in my daughter's Celica, and is being driven
by a 300 Watt Kicker Monoblock Amp. I am totally pleased both with the
appearance and performance of this sub, it's plenty of bass and sounds
great. It actually is a little overkill for the Celica, she rarely cranks
it much, but that's what I had in mind, lol. Excellent sub, and a good
deal at Amazon.

Works well, sounds great....and has held up pretty good considering the choppy ride in my 3/4 ton truck

I hadn't had subwoofers in my car for about 10 years, and my last were a pair of MTX Terminator 12"; fine subs in their own right. After connecting a single CompVR 12 to a beefy Kenwood mono amp, I can't believe the difference. This sub hits very hard, very clean and can absorb a lot of wattage. Granted the cars used for these two separate sub setups were different (Taurus vs. Civic), and some might say the trunk is the key factor here...but I'd claim without a doubt that this one Kicker pounds twice as hard as two Terminators did. Amazon's price was a steal and I couldn't be happier. If you're looking for a single 12" sub to handle all your bass needs, look no further.

I've had one of these subwoffers for about a year now in a single ported box runnin a 1000 watt kenwood kac mono block D and let me tell u i put the vol. up to 12 my ear kanal starts vibrating with the bass at neg-2 when I turn the bass up to +2 and the volume to 28 it gets to be too much.Lookin to purchace a another one and a sealed box. then I"LL realy be knockin myself around. I wish I would have checked out Amazon first I paid $140.00$ for mine at another online store. But Kicker is an awsome company. I had a proublem with my speaker basiclly it blew and they replaced it for FREE within two weeks gotta love that.

I bought 2 of these subs after my 3d system got stolen, have had them bout 5 months. these go in the back of a 97 gmc extended cab and hooked up to a (pathetic) A/B Kenwood 1,000watt. Knowing a whole lot more then i do now. these subs can pretty much handle anything and i mean EVERYTHING you wanna through at it. (it can handle all your stupid mistakes too) i had both voice coils hooked up and had it at 1 ohm. needless to say my amp didnt like that too much, it over heated ever 4 or 6 mins. and the subs were still hitting amazingly hard, they cracked my box right down the middle and the seat feels like your on a freakin vibrating chair. i kinda calmed down the amp and are running both of these at 2 ohms, at half the gain and its more then enough to get my ears popping. its a little overkill but i love every minitue of it you will not regret buying these amazing subs. 10 stars and 2 thumbs up.

Would definitely recommend, very loud, especially for the price, have just one with a Kenwood Kac-9105d amp in a ported box, set off car alarms and can be heard from a few blocks away.

I purchased a pair of these to replace some outdated Sony Xplods. They are definitely a huge upgrade. My buddy has a pair as well and they are very loud with great sound quality. His broke his rear view mirror off and part of the windshield came with it so be careful hatchback users. I would definitely recommend these subs.

I'm only running one cvr 12 in my car and it is loud. It can take a lot of power. You will be happy with it. Kicker subwoofers are very nice and are hard to brake.

When i got the sub i was all excited and stuff. However, when i opened the package i saw no screws? really? you should include screws, kicker. It's no matter what kinds of screws, they just have to be there! Well nevertheless, i love the sub. at 1 volume on my JVC, my license plate vibrates like crazy and this is only 1 sub!!!!! i was gonna get two but god damn i'm gonna be deaf! Excellent subwoofer overall. I'd recommend 1 for a person who wants alot of bass and 2 for insane people who want their car to fall apart from the bass. :))))
