These subs are worth every cent I paid for them. They perform well, produce great deep sound. I'm running mine on a Aline 500W mono sub amp and they sound great. I could be running them with almost 1000 watts, so I'm sure they would sound even better if I was giving them more power. The box is wonderfully constructed and is very sturdy. Kicker subs will never let you down in quality. This is a good place to start if your wanting to get into kicker but not go bankrupt. I very much enjoy my subs.

My daughter wanted 12" Kickers for her car and these CompVR's have been outdated by a newer model so they can be had much cheaper. They sound pretty good even with a $55 Power Acoustik amp I found for them on Amazon. The whole thing including a nice wiring kit was bought for less than $300 which is less than what the newer model CompVR's alone sell for.

I got these subs powered by a a Power Acoustik Mono D amp (turned at quater power) and its hittin hard. I searched all through amazon for about a month for a system for my car. Its perfect for my vehicle, and I not trying to win any contests but if your on a budget. This set up is for you. It has a nice size vent hole for the air, and it keeps the amp cool that way. I bought a 4 guage amp wiring kit as well. I've had it installed for a week now. Whats nice is that the Power Acoustik amps all have a gain control!
