L5 inherits the same inner workings as the L7, like the cutting-edge SoloKon, the vacuum-formed, ultra-rigid cone used to push massive amounts of air. & just as its predecessor, L5s motor structure uses high-temp dual voice coils, a poly-cotton semi-progressive spider, long-lasting tinsel leads, the effective UniPlate pole piece/back plate, & a T-cut top plate for dispersing heat & creating immense power handling. A wide Santoprene surround easily handles the punishment handed out by the L5s motor & cone, & a rear foam gasket secures the stamped-steel basket to any baffle. The steel basket w/spring-loaded terminals & a tough-looking magnet boot, the logo-bearing protective front gasket, & SoloKons hot matte finish make the Solo-Baric L5 rugged enough to take onto any city street.
