5.0 out of 5 stars The best video game ever, October 7, 2003
This review is from: Kid Chameleon (Video Game)
Some video games have ninjas, other games have knights in shiney armor, and others have guys riding around on hover-boards. Kid Chameleon has all three; as well as a fly, a tornado maker, a ray-gun enthusiast, a rhino, and probably some other things I'm forgetting. The levels are seemingly never-ending and the graphings are good becasue, well, they are like nothing else...as is this game. This game was great, I remember not giving a care about whether I beat it or not, because I had so much fun playing it. The Kid traveled in between layers that seemed to never end. One second you'd be in a metropolis city, the next you'd be on an island paradise, seconds later you'd be warped to the depths of hell. Kid Chameleon is a fine game indeed. It has what many of the modern games lack -- genuine imagination. Kid Chameleon was and is to this day a gem. Quite possibly the finest game ever made.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kid Chameleon: SEGA GENISIS, April 28, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Kid Chameleon (Video Game)
This game is one of the most fun games for video game lovers of almost any age. This game was way ahead of its time as far as design goes, if this game came out for a new system such as XBOX or PS2 it would be and INSTANT HIT. I've played this game since I was about 9 years old and I am 20 years old now and I still have a blast playing it. Kid Chameleon is a great game, but don't let is fun exciting apperance fool you, it is also one of the hardest games ever made for any Sega console with over 100 levels of exciting terrian and cool music. You'll be busy for a very, very long time and having lots of fun being busy if your up to the challenge of trying to beat this game. Kid Chameleon has to be in the TOP 3 games ever made for any Sega console, if not that; definatly in the TOP 5. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND investing the money to aquire this game if you still love to play your SEGA GENISIS :o).

5.0 out of 5 stars A rare and fun find!, July 9, 2001
This review is from: Kid Chameleon (Video Game)
This game is a platformer. Some-what like Vectorman or Sonic, but you don't shoot protons nor do you run like the wind and grab golden rings for no apparent reason other than the fact it's tied to your life force. No. You go through levels changing into differnt things. Differnt and diverse game play. Fun for the whole family!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Mario clone that never failed to live up to the series, April 10, 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Kid Chameleon (Video Game)
Yeah, there's basically no other way to put it. Kid Chameleon is a Super Mario clone. From bashing blocks to jumping on enemies, this game has "Mario" written all over it. That's not to say the game is bad, though.

It emulates the Mario series greatly, and that can only be a good thing. There are also some very cool power-ups that are exclusive to this game, such as turning into a ninja, complete with sword. The levels also have really interesting designs.

While there isn't really anything else to say about this game, if you love Mario games, you should get this, considering there isn't an official Mario game ever released for the Genesis.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Game- A Classic!, June 22, 2009
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Kid Chameleon (Video Game)
I still play this game and I am 41 years of age! This is such a fun game, I even have my kids hooked on it. Like the other reviewer said get this and Zombies Ate My Neighbors, my all time favorite! Also check out for Nintendo the original Adventure Island. They just don't make games like they used to, sorry I am totally old school.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Game!, January 16, 2007
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Kid Chameleon (Video Game)
Like I said, a great game. The graphics are great and best of all it is a lot of fun. Some things though kind of bug me. For example, the game play controls are bit "slippery." Sometimes when you try to jump on a block you will slip and fall of easily. I have no idea whether it is the character you are (the samurai, jason, etc) but it does make the game a bit frustrating sometimes. The music is pretty good, although it is a bit repetative. The possibilities of weapons, items, etc is awesome, which is probably kid chameleons best assest (and what makes it so much fun.) Be aware though, this game is NOT easy. It is difficult, especially in the levels where you have to avoid the meat grinder following you! Also it is LOOOOONNGGG! There are at least 50 plus levels you have to go through, not including the alternate levels. Anyways..get this game you will enjoy it for hours and hours, trust me!
