My son (3) loves this. We bought it for him because his dad has a lawn trimmer, and whatever daddy does, he wants to do. They are so realistic and safe. My son has had it for over a year and still plays with it a lot, especially now with spring here. I would highly recommend it. I only wish the company (Lanard) would come out with a pretend leaf blower as well because my son would love one and I would be the first to purchase one.

We bought this weed trimmer for our 2 year old son. He LOVES it more than anything he has ever played with!!!
He loves to do yard work with his daddy. With this trimmer, he feels like he is really helping.
He was able to learn how to operate it very quickly. Pushing one button to start and then pressing the trigger button on the handle. He is exactly two and can do it without any problems.
We only wish we had found this months ago!!!!!

My son won't put this down. He has not grown tired of this toy. He plays with it everyday and "weed wacks" all around the yard. If your child is active and enjoys the "real thing" this is a close as it gets! His friends love it too.

My 3 year old son received this weed-wacker for Christmas and LOVED it. He had a John Deer one the year before but it did not hold up like this Home Depot one has. He even bangs the weed-wacker on tke ground and it is still working and in tact. :-)

This is one of the best toys my son has every gotten. He plays with it inside and outside. He's had it for over a year now and still loves it. Very durable also. He left it outside for about a week before I realized it was out there. It rained alot and was very cold out.I thought for sure it was going in the garbage. I pushed the button and wouldn't you know it still works just like brand new.

My 2 1/2 year old son LOVES this weed whaker (or weed whacky as we call it). He has watched my husband work in the yard fascinated by the lawn mower and weed whacky and now he can do it too. He was thrilled and used in non-stop for a day and a half, just walking around the house weed whacking. We say he is weed whacked now! :-) A super fun, realistic, durable toy.

This is a really great toy. It was a gift to my son on his 3rd birthday and he loves it! It was his favorite present by far. All his friends like it too! We ended up purchasing another one because everyone had a hard time sharing just the one.

My 4 yr old has had this toy for a year and still plays with it a lot. It even works after being dunked in the kiddie pool! It's very durable and has a realistic sound.

Got this toy for my son's 3rd birthday and he hasn't put it down since. Everytime my husband does the yard work my son has to take this with him outside to help. He uses it indoors and its not too loud. Its very durable and the batteries last quite a while. I recommend this toy highly.

My 4 year old has had this for about 2 years. It is still going strong and he loves it! The weed trimmer sound is great and the swirling lights on the bottom simulating the string are really cool! The little light bar also stops easily when small fingers get ahold of it. This is also also a really great gift.
