5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Action Movie For The Whole Family! Massachussetts, August 27, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Kid Cop [VHS] (VHS Tape)
"Kid Cop" is a really good movie. I liked the movie 'cause a kid actually ends up being the hero-not adults. Well, actually, a lot of movies are like that nowadays but it's still really good. The movie's about a kid who wants to be a cop when he grows up like his father (who died before the movie started) and so he has all of his father's old cop equipment and stuff and knows how to use it. He's always on the lookout in his town for trouble that might happen and when there are robbers reported in town, he trys to find a way to get them caught but he gets into trouble along the way! I really recommend this movie-it's very good and the acting is espeically good. Go out and see this movie-try it! I can gaurentee that you'll like it!

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful Police Propaganda, February 10, 2002

This review is from: Kid Cop [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I have tried hard to find any point in this movie, except for the fact to tell kids that its cool to be a cop. Not the type of movie to rent for your family, if you actually want to get something for the whole family out of the film medium. This is a perfect example of why most family movies in the 90s are no good; no ineteresting storyline, no good kid acting and a dry plot that puts cops on a ledge. If you want good famliy entertainment turn back to the 80s Goonies, Gremlins, ET and The Flight of the Navigator are a perfect place to start.
