This is THE only mattress pad you'll need. Don't bother with the more expensive ones. This one is very durable, easy wash and dry and isn't PLASTICY but nice, soft and quilted. Slips on like a fitted sheet. I've had one for years and it's now been passed down to baby #2's crib.

This mattress pad is soft, but not too cushiony. Also, the waterproof element is located INSIDE the pad, so you don't have too much of the annoying plastic/vinyl rubbing sound or feel. The pad has protected our mattress from many a baby attack.

We bought this as a mattress protector but it is also
quilted and adds comfort to my son's crib. Works well
and one thing I like about this protector is that it is fitted
to the mattress, no snaps, no ties, just slip it on like you would a fitted sheet. Dirty? Toss it in the washer. Two thumbs up!

This is a great mattress pad. It's not too thick or too thin and it provides enough cushion over the mattress. Also seems to hold up to washings.

I love it. My 4th baby's diapers tend to leak frequently. This one absorbs it the best without pooling. It is soft, provides some padding, and is absorbent. My mattress is waterproof and pools. This pulls the moisture away from his body so when I discover it, he doesn't have a rash from the sheets and I don't have to get a towel to soak up the pool. It does not have that plastic feel. I put in the the wash and dryer with the rest of the baby clothes and it is still holding up well through 2 kids unlike the other ones I have had which lost some absorbancy. It fits my crib just like a regular sheet. It is also reasonably priced. I suggest having 2 so when you are washing one you can remake the crib. It is a necessity in my nursery.

I got two of these for my first baby who is now 3 and still using them, and I'm buying more for my next baby. They've held up great over the years through all the accidents and washings. I'm surprised that they haven't ripped or shrunk since I have a habit of running the dryer on too high of heat over and over again until I remember to get the clothes out while they're hot. They also make the mattress more comfortable and less plasticy, and the sheets fit a lot better when they are on.

Nice soft pad, works great and absorbs a lot of liquid. Only problem is it does pill up, bad! I suggest you wash it alone and dry it alone the first time. Take a lint shaver and get the pills off, the next time wash and hang dry. That's what I did and I don't have anymore problems. Compared to the other ones on the market, this is the best one.

My mother bought a couple of these for my son when he was born 4 years ago, and they helped immensely. I breastfed him, so every stool he had was watery and leaked, regardless of the diaper we used. It was so much easier to change a mattress pad that could just be placed on/off the bed instead of the tucking that a fitted pad would entail.

But the very best part was the suprise I got potty training my son. When he went through a bedwetting phase recently, I was able to minimize sheet washing and get back to sleep sooner by keeping one of these crib sized soft pads over his fitted sheet on his twin sized bed. The whole mattress was protected by a fitted plastic cover under the sheet, and the soft crib pad was on top, over the area prone to wetness. I can just change his pajamas, take off the crib pad, and the bed's ready. And there's no pile up of wet, stinky sheets to launder.

I wouldn't recommend using this over the sheet for an infant, as it will be covered with balls of lint and be rather scratchy after several washings, though under the sheet it's wonderful. But an older child seems less likely to mind the texture, and my son for one is grateful to get back to bed ASAP!

I purchased two of these mattress pads two years ago for my son's crib. This pad is so easy to put on and take off the mattress. It fits a standard crib mattress PERFECTLY, and lays nice and flat. It washes up easily, and does NOT shrink! It's soft and durable, and it has NEVER leaked! Oh, and compared to many mattress pads that cost up to $19.99 each- this pad is a super deal!

I was so pleased with this product that I'd buy it all over again- and I will. We are expecting TWINS this spring, and I plan on purchasing two more mattress pads for our second crib!

I reccommend purchasing TWO for those middle of the night messes, that way you can change the sheets and pad in the middle of the night and not worry about washing the soiled pad till you wake up the next morning. :)

I registered for this, and was so glad when I got it. Our matress has a plastic cover, and I'd rather that my daughter didn't sleep directly on a sheet on plastic, so this cover gives her face air so she doesn't get all sweaty, or sit in her drool if she spits. Cleans great, and very durable.
