I purchased these in size 30 for my 5 year old who is a 12.5 currently and they were a bit snug.
These have the conversion of size 30 being 13 but I'd say these were more a 12-12.5 They are nice and wide up front to spread out toes... so I'd avoid these if your child has narrow feet

I will certainly get these larger for her. The nubuck is so soft, soles are grippy and flexible and they are super cute. They are lined with soft supple leather in pink

We usually but Umi and Merrell for her. I'd say these are Umi-esque in design and quality
