I have a 6 year old son I play a lot of games with, and the Wii is one of our consoles. This controller is SO much easier for him to hold in his little hands, especially for things like frisbee golf and bowling and such. He plays better because it's not so long and awkward for his reach. The motion plus accessory still snaps in just fine, and of course the non standard color is a big hit for any 6 year old.

Had no problems whatsoever pairing it with the console, it acts just like any other controller, just much better for smaller hands. Great job by the designers.

We purchased this for our 3 year old so she could enjoy the Wii with us. It links up great, hooks up to the motion plus, and is small enough for her to maintain her grip. She has dropped it a few times (as expected) and it still works perfectly. She also likes playing with us now, before the normal control was simply too big for her to use. I would recommend this for kids under 6 since our 6 year old uses the other one fine. The only drawback so far is it is slightly too small for some of the attachments (like the golf clubs or frisbee), but she can't quite grasp those games yet anyway.

it's perfect for my daughter's hands; she love to use it, beacuse the original wii remote it's to big and heavy. the pink color it's the cherry on the top, because is her favorite color. just the right size, weight and color for a little 5 year old girl.

We have had the wii mote for about a month. It is great....when it is working. The whole time we are playing games, it will pause and say that "communication is interrupted." Then in a minute it will start up again?? Now this morning the playchuk stopped working at all. This is increasingly frustrating to a 5 year old....and his mother!! When it's working, I really like it; but I'm returning it.

I loved everything about this remote except the fact that I had to return it twice. Both remotes made a high-pitched electronic whine, which caused it to need new batteries every 2-3 hours. My son was so disappointed.

If I could give negative stars to the manufacturer I would. I called them over a week ago and of course no response.

Five stars for Amazon though, after receiving the second defective remote, they refunded my money. If you still insist on buying this, at least buy it from Amazon in case you get a defective one too.

It has been over a month since I contacted the manufacturer. When you call the manufacturer you are asked to leave a detailed message, which I did. I never did receive a call back from them. Once again, I am so glad I bought this from Amazon, or I would have been stuck with it.

I thought wow little remotes for little hands! We bought two one for each daughter (4 and 6 years old) about two months ago. One remote is unpredictable sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't and both have a constant annoying buzzing sound. The A buttons jam easily, they respond more slowly, break signal with the wii easier, and there is no motion plus in these remotes so any active game won't work. You can purchase an adaptor seperately to plug motion plus into these remotes which balances out the lower price and you still have a crappy remote that will only last a couple of months. So my advice from parent to parent is buy the real deal don't mess with these cheap little remotes. My girls have adjusted just fine to using the regular remotes and they work continuously and silently.

My son loves the color and size, but if you are new in this whole wii stuff, like me, you might not know that you need to add the motion plus to it, if I had known I would probably have gotten a regular motion plus bundle, as I don't think it is worth to pay so much for a kid controller (if you add the motion plus price).
Well, I has stopped working, It started not working very well and we thought it was the batteries and changed them and worked again, but now it won't work at all, and my son didn't even use it that much, I don't think it's worth the price.

I just got a WII and thought this remote would be perfect for my 3 year old son. I liked it for the size but I had purchased the accessories to help my son play the games like the tennis racket and the golf club etc. I also purchased a car racing game with the steering wheel. This remote is too wide to fit in any of them.

I later purchased a lego kids remote that does both ~ fits in the accessories and is small in size for little hands.

The only thing that gets used from this set now is the Playchuk and that is not often.

I bought this for my 4 yr old and it's perfect. The color she loves, the size is great for her little hands, the design is great for children. I do love this remote. However, this remote eats batteries like it's no business. I am at the point now where I have to replace the batteries every time she wants to play. EVERY TIME I kid you not. At first I thought "Uh-oh, this thing is not working like some other reviewers claimed" but I got it to sync, it worked with batteries, and had no major problems Until now. It seems the more I change the batteries the more it eats them like candy! Buyer beware. I haven't checked to see if I could charge this like other other wiimotes nor I have bought rechargeable batteries yet but I'm looking into those options. Anything to salvage my daughter's favorite wii mote so she can play games with me.

This remote was a big hit the size was great and the color meant my 4 yr old didn't lose his remote all the time. We've had it for 3-4 months and about a month ago my son stopped playing with it. He said it didn't work, we changed the rechargeable batteries (it goes throught batteries fast) but that didn't seem to help. When I can get it working there is a delay between your actions and the characters on the screen so not good for play at all. My son want another remote his size but if it's only going to work a couple months it's not worth the price. I told him he'll just have to play with the big remotes.
