I bought this as a gift for my 5 year old special needs son. The size is fantastic, the controls are perfectly organized and the toy itself is really durable. I am really impressed with the value of this toy and will be buying more!

This truly is great for a child's first remote control car. The police siren is great! Not too loud and it really gets my grandson's attention. The two-button remote control is easy for him to operate and hold. Batteries easy to replace and last a really long time in both the car and the remote control. NO SPECIAL SCREWDRIVER NEEDED: Just a small phillips is all it takes. Highly recommended! We bought the police car, fire truck, construction loader and school bus. The soft body makes it safe for both child and furniture!

For $20 it's hard to complain. Real RC vehicles are at least 10x that much. Still, I wouldn't buy another one. Sadly, I only learned this after I already bought three of them for different kids. And all three (different models) worked the same and had the same limitations.

The biggest problem is the range - about 10'. It's also intermittent. Once in awhile, it will work from farther away. But it also fails from very close.

It is not powerful enough for most carpets. Works pretty well on hard floors. Even had trouble on asphalt driveway.

It's also loud and annoying. I ended up taking it apart and snipping the wire to the speaker.

All three kids lost interest pretty quickly. It's just not reliable enough for a kid's short attention span. They have too many toys that work every time.

Bought this one for my 17 month old nephew and he absolutely loves it. Bought the lady bug for my niece and she loves it also. The police car had a problem with it on delivery and the customer service was outstanding, sending a new one to my sister immediately.

My 2 yr old son received this as a gift for his birthday. It has not worked correctly since we received it. The first problem was one of the back wheels rubbed on the body of the car. So I e-mailed the company and their advice was to take the top off and re-attach it from front to back (which we had done about 50 times before I e-mailed). They were no help. The car also would move on its own without the use of the remote. Recently the car had died so we switched out the battery and now it does not work at all. We have had this car exactly 6 wks and it is being thrown out. I had personally purchased this car for 2 other people and their cars worked great. I guess we received a defective one and the company was not willing to give us a new one.

Got this for Christmas for my son who is almost 2. It's easy to operate but it does not make any sounds as it is supposed to according to the descriptions. Be careful with this brand of toys. We got another similar one (a bike) by the same brand and it doesn't work at all. In the trash it went...because it looks like a lot of fun and our son was very upset that it wouldn't do anything. Overall, it's an o.k. remote controlled car. Seems like the company that produces them doesn't seem to care about what they are putting out there.

i love this car for my 18 month old. it's the perfect first r/c car...soft, cute, and easy to use. i like that it goes in circles instead of reverse so that you can turn it essentially. i also really enjoy that the body is soft. however, i am really upset that there are no siren noises. i read another review that also said this but i read the product description again and even went directly to the manufacturer's website and both state it has "bump n go siren sounds". there are no sounds to this toy which would have made it perfect.

My 3 year old nephew has been after us for a tiny police car. He didn't quite fancy the big, RC vehicles he already had, just wanted something small. We got him this toy from Amazon. He loves it and plays with it all the time. We love it as well, since its made of soft plastic on the top and front, so if he drops it on the hardwood floor , we don't have to panic. The unfortunate part is that the vehicle don't have sound(sirens) or lights. In one way its good, helps us maintain our sanity , on the other hand, its strange to have a police car with no sirens or lights. At the end of the day, my customer, my nephew is very happy and content. That is all that matters..

First of all, I am so disappointed in the interference from what ever it is in the house, that if it was for someone other than my 2 year old who doesnt know any better, then I would be really mad that I wasted my money on it. You have to stand on top of the fire truck in the house to get it to work because something seems to be interfering with the signal. Now, I took it to the park, and there was no problem but then again, at my mom's, we had the same issues. Apparently, despite the video showing 2 of the same types of toys running at the same time, you can only run 1 truck and/or 1 car at a time as 2 of the same kind would interfere with each other. Oh.. and one last thing, it freaks me out if it is left on because what ever keeps interfering with the signal makes it run by itself randomly. I used to think it was the cat laying on the remote or something, but it is not! Freakkky... I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who may have cordless phones, wireless internet, wireless thermometer, or anything else that emits a signal, as it will make these toys not work right! However, I did contact Kid Galaxy themselves and they did send us a replacement fire truck, but it had the same issues.

This was a gift for my 2 year old. The buttons are easy for him to operate and use he plays with this toy daily. My only frustration is that the siren can't be turned off, once this car is on and running so is the siren continuously. I wish it had a switch to turn the siren off and still allow my son to play with the car. Even his brothers ages 6 and 11 like to play with this car though. Very durable.
