4.0 out of 5 stars do not buy two
We bought the go go bus and garbage truck. The kids love them- they are easy to use and durable. The bus is a little noisier than the truck. The problem is that they are set to the same frequency-27 mhz. The controller for the bus also controls the garbage truck when both are on. The reason we bought them is so two kids could use them together

2.0 out of 5 stars Does not last!
This toy appears to be good quality and is easy to use and my little boy enjoyed it until it stopped working...within less then a year of occasional use. Changing out the batteries did not prove to be helpful. It simply "gave up the ghost" and was ready for the trash bin. Very disappointing.

4.0 out of 5 stars fun and easy, a little loud, January 13, 2009

The remote is large and durable. It has two buttons, forward and spin, that are labeled with arrows. I bought it for my daughter, who is not quite 3. She is able to control it easily and her older brother (5) has had some fun with it as well. My only complaint is that it is a little louder than it needs to be. It makes motor and horn sounds constantly, which is okay since the kids like it, but the one controlling the bus is always close enough to watch it and you can hear the sound effects three rooms away. The bus takes 3 AA batteries and the remote one 9V.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cool first remote car, January 9, 2007

This is a good first remote car. My 2 1/2 year old loved it. His older cousins even loved it (age 4, 7 & 10). Only reason for 4 stars is the fact that it is advertised for 2+, but it comes w/ the 3+ small parts warning. However, in looking at the unit, it does not appear to have any thing that could easily come off.

We had seen the toy at a friend's house and knew what to expect. It is a great first remote toy for a 2 year old. It's easy to control and provides immediate rewards. I feel we got what was expected and would highly recommend it.

My 1 year old already had a remote controlled spider which she loves to play with so we got this for her as well. She gets a kick out of it and picked up the simple controls very quickly. It isn't very loud but certainly not quiet. Very durable and rather soft.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun toy and easy for younger children, February 13, 2009

I love the Kid Galaxy remote vehicles. The younger children are always attracted to the remote control cars but some are very difficult for them and they get frustrated. The 1st RC vehicles are so easy and fun for all ages. At Christmas the older children were having as much fun as the toddlers. I bought for all my little nephews for Christmas.

This was a good purchase. It was great for my nephew who just turned 2 he was able to control it and do it by himself. It was the only toy he played with at the party. A big hit. The noise on carpet was not bad, I hear at home on the hard wood it was louder nothing a little packing tape couldn't fix. Also this bus is very soft plastic (flexable almost) we thought that was a good thing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Toddlers first remote control, December 28, 2008

These are the perfect first remote control for toddler's. I bought the fire truck for my son a few years ago and then purchased the bus for my daughter this Christmas. They are soft and very easy to manipulate. My kids love them. My son still loves to play with his fire truck. The sounds they make are very realistic as well.....Kid Galaxy manufactures nice, durable remote controlled vehicles. Enjoy!!

1.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointed, waste my time and efforts, December 27, 2011

My 2 yrs was every excited seeing this bus on Xmas day. However, I need to get the 9V battery for the remote control. Ok, I ran out to buy the battery. Then I found the screw for the battery compartment was located in a deep and thin hole and all my tools cannot reach it. I ran out again for a new screw driver. Then I spent 2 hrs still couldn't unscrew it to install the batteries. I really like to see my son playing this toy but I have to return it after wasting all the time and efforts (2 trips to the hardware store, $5.5 for 9v battery, $2.3 for new screw driver.) I am very disappointed. Amazon, please stop selling this junk.

Worst ever purchase from Amazon. Bought as Chrismas gift, but you'll need both a 9 volt battery for the remote and a phillips screw driver that is long and thin enough to reach the screw deep inside a small hole on the bus in order to install the batteries. We were lucky to find both after 10 mins of seaching all the drawers and toolboxes. But we thought it worths the effort if it's a fun and durable toy until the bus stopped spinning after only 5 mins of play. So it only goes forward now.
